After estrogen + antiandrogen therapy nearly a year my facial features has softened and became more feminine so that you could see the difference. Will it continue or was it only an effect at the begining of the therapy?

Obviously results vary but yes your face will change for the next 2-3 years, i have some friends who are completely unrecognisable from their old photo's.

Theres hope for us all :)

Also my hair has changed a colour little bit, it now does not get fatty and I have a little bit new hair growth in my forehead.

And this gives me hope too...  :D I ahve been on HRT for 2 months now, and
aside from fullnes in a cheeks nothing changed much. I still ahve fat below my
jawline which is making it look bulky though bone underneath is not too large.
I hope this goes away, as i loose waight cuz i am overwaight, too.
Can anyone tell me what exactly happens to face? I know about cheeks filling in
and fet disappearing below jawline, but is taht it?

Also, if anyone knows, some pic gallery or site, links, whateverm where i might find
example of "before-after" hrt results in a face, that would be great?

What time is resonable, to expect first significant changes, in a way that people
notice your face is different?

And, how long face cahnges/morphs... i know that breasts take at lesat 4 years but
what is with the face?

If anyone can answer this questions, please do so, and i will be very thankfull  ;)

It varies from person to person as nothing in this life is absolute.  I'm one of the lucky ones, I guess you could say, since I am literally unrecognizable from my parasitic twin!  ;D  and no, I have never had any major maxillofacial surgery of any kind.  I was unable to pass as a "guy" (to whatever degree that was) only six months after HRT.  I also know some women who have been unable to pass despite years of extensive HRT therapy, and as a result they have undergone facial feminization surgery, so as you can see, it is different for everyone!

Tink - I flourish in femininity reading your posts. Do you really have a twin or are you just being facetious and making it all up when you say parasitic twin?

My gender therapist has asked me many times about whether my younger brother has the same proclivities that I do with regards to being femme. It is such a taboo subject that I can't ask my brother about it yet. I'm not ready to torture him with photos of SRS either;)

I don't want to be a thread hijacker, but my gender therapist and I have talked about whether there is a hereditary link to being TG that goes unnoticed due to the fact that it is such a taboo topic to discuss with family. I think it's super-interesting that you have a twin who is OK with his original gender.

Back to the thread topic: I can not wait to start hormones and I can't wait for the changes to my face and other places! I think that in 5 years I might wonder what my face would have looked like if I had just let testosterone have its course. Having a twin must be such a nice reference - you can just look and see what the "other" you would look like minus the estrogen.

Interesting...

Cheers,
Britney

I dont think Tink has an actual twin. I have heared other transwoman
refearing that way to their "old-self" or "male-sexed self" (i have coined the latter)  ;)

No, I don't have a twin.  I am not quite sure if I would like to have a twin.  As Mari said, parasitic or evil twin is how I call my old self.  ;D The best of luck with HRT BTW!
