Trying to keep the info here at Susan's as current as possible and I've heard mention of new improved phallos and the like.
If this is true, I'd like to update our wiki.
Anyone have the 411 on this? Dan?
Citations and links would be most helpful.

Thanks.

Info on the most current procedure, "phalloplasty using a musculocutaneous latissimus dorsi flap" is still payware ($30?) @ BJU Int

In about a month it should become free to view.

QuoteThe mean (range) follow-up was 31 (12–74) months; the penis was 14–18 cm long and 11–15 cm in circumference. There was no partial or total flap necrosis; the donor site healed satisfactorily in 13 patients while in the remaining three there was moderate scarring. The patency of the urethra was good in all patients. Two urethrocutaneous fistulae developed; one closed spontaneously and the other was successfully treated with minor surgery. The function of the implanted penile prostheses was satisfactory in all patients.

Nero, well I am self limited in my discussion of this matter. I would be willing to provide you with the published papers that I have come across in my research. They are not specifically directed at the FTM community though. As for the MLD phallo technique I believe that the papers have been released. I will have to locate it so if someone has their hands on it already please feel free to provide it.

Incidentally I have already decided not to use Susan's as my manner of distributing info on my surgeries due to the responses already seen. If you wish to discuss this with me do so on PM or through BME. If you wish to be rude and disrespectful then you might as well save it for someone else, I am not interested. I have however set up my BME and IAM accounts and the stages are being published there. Anyone who wishes to can contact me to receive the web address or search for me under ->-bleeped-<-boy. In addition BME has a very low tolerance for harassment so I wouldn't recommend bringing the harassment there, you will just be banned.

My interest is just to keep Susan's as updated as possible for any guys looking for info. Any personal opinions or views I may have on the surgeries are set aside for this.

If that is a yes I will look through my files and pull the relevant recent articles when I return from my seeing my artist tomorrow. Would you like it PMed to you or posted in this thread?

Oh and I wasn't directing the second paragraph at anyone in particular. I am just not in the mood to be harassed again. Thanks for the reassurance.

The problem is that the techniques I've talked about are not just one surgery. They use current surgeries but it's a process of several revisions that creates favorable results.

But if people don't know about erectile implants, that certainly is something to add. However, I don't have "sources." I've heard from word of mouth. I know a guy who had his phallo done with "pockets" left for the implants. It's supposedly common knowledge in Thailand.

I know Susan's policy on linking and for this post I intend to disregard it. I mean no offense but I have to link for this post. Please feel free to remove the links once you have copies if that makes it better while I break the rules slightly.

Anatomy- The woman who has advanced our knowledge of the clitoris is Helen O'Connell, she has published multiple studies which have great relevance for the community.

So now with an accurate base understanding of clitoral anatomy we can move to surgical procedures. A general overview of many procedures used in our surgeries can be found in a book called Hypospadias Surgery: An Illustrated Guide which is available through google books here http://books.google.ca/books?id=VAxxvuS7Fy4C&pg=PA254&lpg=PA254&dq=bifid+scrotum&source=web&ots=lu7BMLOYhn&sig=YRptXxo4kXlITaXVNi6JZoJkhpM&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=4&ct=result#PPP1,M1

I have few more article to post but I am going to have dinner first, happy reading.

Sorry it has taken me a while but I am still unwell. None the less, following a total release and relocation of the erectile tissue the next step is erect enlargement that is done by incision in the tunica albuginea. The following links explain things but in the end the goal is longer and wider penis during erection.

This is a surgeons article on procedure- http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob=ArticleURL&_udi=B6X10-4698PN7-1&_user=10&_rdoc=1&_fmt=&_orig=search&_sort=d&view=c&_acct=C000050221&_version=1&_urlVersion=0&_userid=10&md5=f3ad5d9dbb4292d761fdce0843ee13dd
Good overall article- http://www.garymarshall.org/surgery/saphenous_vein_grafts.html
Article on graft options- http://www.asiaandro.com/1008-682X/10/158.htm
The only graft option not presented was vaginal tissue.
Dr Perovic and other surgeons have done these procedures. Think of how many metas might have been realistic if they were longer.
Other girth procedures include Dr Perovics PLGA scaffolding to enlarge flaccid girth discussed in this paper.
Perovic S., Byun J.S., Scheplev P., Djordjevic M.L., Kim J.H., Bubanj T. NEW PERSPECTIVES OF PENILE ENLARGEMENT SURGERY: TISSUE ENGINEERING WITH BIODEGRADABLE SCAFFOLDS. Eur Urol. 2006 Jan;49(1):139-47.
He also does glans enlargement as depicted in this study.
Perovic, S.V., Radojicic, Z., Djordjevic, M., Vukadinovic, V.: ENLARGEMENT AND SCULPTURING OF A SMALL AND DEFORMED GLANS. J. Urol., 170:1686-1690, 2003

So that means I still need to find the urethraplasty and release papers. For those of you concerned I am preparing for surgery 3, as surgery 2 took me off my feet with problems. However we are back on track about to relay the crura. Neuro-vascular bundle is the limiting complication in lengthening. However with a staged approach the tissue is slowly stretching. If you think about it like stretching a piercing then it will make sense. I am really excited about this because it will actually look more like a penis then a clit for the first time. My website on IAM is up and running but for legality issues it is kept delayed. The photo gallery is set up for those with hard memberships. It show only pictures up to the piercings. In the next little while my surgical pics should be up. Once that is done someone look and tell Elwood; you have to be 18 to view the site and it is not safe for work. My website is not safe for work but isn't bad for mature minors. However for legality issues don't click on any of the photo gallery which include genital photos and aren't appropriate for children.

Take care
