Hi....Thanks for dropping in!

I've been wondering if I should start this one for a while now, particularly as I know that so many of you are more into Rock and Chillout...

..But if I don't try, I won't find out if there is anyone else here interested...

What I'm looking for here is some powerful dance music...call it Trance, Rave, Garage, House.... :eusa_dance:  Whatever, but no R&B please!

..I have been a DJ and sound engineer for over 35 years (honest), and have a very wide range of musical taste.....

...but when I want loose myself for a while (as we sometimes need to) this is the stuff I now find is the best reality blocker...

SOOOOO..Hook up that sub-bass, close the windows, throw off the coat, and get ready to work-it....Things could get a little LOUD!

............Or here goes with another one of my potentially zero response threads...you decide!..... ;D

Motorcycle ~ As the Rush Comes....

Jurgen Vries ~ The Wilderness.......

Paul Van Dyk - Crush................

Sephirah

I adore that motorcycle track. Absolutely love it. :)

I'm not overly keen on the PVD track, it's that kind of industrial type stuff that turned me off him and more onto Armin and Above & Beyond.

What else ya got? ;)

Edit: Here's one from me...

Aria Project -- Tears Of An Angel (Hemstock & Jennings mix)

Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

There is a tape out there of one of the first Black Sabbath concerts, where Ozzy (thin, and not totally wacked out on drugs, yet) is just staring at Tommy playing the riffs.  God, I wish I could find it to put it up here.  Power and the Glory.

That, and Paul Oakenfold's opening set for Madonna at Coalchillia.  Awesome.  Even for Paul.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Anytime the band was lead by Tommy Iommi and not Ozzy, it was a better band.

And you thought no one would respond.  :icon_poke:  And yes I found my stick again. >:-)

Queen Anyone?

  •

tekla

Never a big Queen fan, always thought it was overblown, and pretentious rock/shlock.  However, live, in concert, Freddie was the ->-bleeped-<-.  He did have pipes.

OK...OK...

Thank you all for dropping in, I was giging last night so this has been my first chance to respond....

Liea ~ Top class as ever......I really liked the operatic vocals on Tears Of An Angel, not quiet so taken by Solar Project, but after few more listens may change my mind...  ;D

bethzerosix ~ Excellent, loved the track, any more hidden away?   :eusa_dance:

And Debbie and Janet...What can I say?   :o  They were loud, "takes ear plugs out" though not quiet the music type I was looking for. But I really appreciate the effort put into the posts and I do like the tracks, I used to play a small basement rock bar in the early 80's with 300 people crammed in (fire limit of 250 if I remember right)....sweat used to run down the walls!! .....Oh and Debbie, I was actually born in the same town as Ozzie, but that's anoher story.. :icon_biggrin:

You can stop poking me with that stick now Janet.... :icon_chainsaw:

Telka ~ you better call them up then... But I stick with the smaller gigs and bands... there's more personal contact and excitement, and I only carry a 2.6kw sound system these days, which saves my back and the garage space!  :eusa_doh:

OK ...back to some more dance music.....

WAY OUT WEST - AJARE......

Chakra - Love Shines Through  ....

Chicane - Red Skies......
