Roughly 2,800 people converged on the steps of the state Capitol in
Hartford on Sunday, Sept. 28 for a Family Institute of Connecticut
(FIC) rally to raise support for a constitutional convention and to
show the state Supreme Court that there are residents who don't want
them to rule in favor of eight same-sex couples seeking the right to
marry.
