SAW Gallery has forcefully reminded Ottawa that art can be -- and
should be -- subversive, political and audacious.
It's a reminder that seems necessary when much of the visual art seen
in capital galleries these days is better described as predictable,
tame and maudlin, and the federal Conservative government is accused
in the current election campaign of being "culture killers."
