Hey im new here and just to make it short and sweet im an m to f transexual who hasnt gone on hormones yet. i have come out to a few friends but not all.  I sure havent come out to my parents yet cause of how they reacted when i said i was gay about 5 years ago.  Of course i now know thats not the case so im just looking for a forum to where i can belong and be myself.  Im basically a gal that loves to talk and i can talk anyone's ears off who cares to listen but i listen too.  Im not conceited or bitchy at all unless someone gets on my bad side which has actually only happened twice in my 22 years of life. anyway i hope everyone on here is nice and i look forward to talking to all you guys and gals.

I am one of the older ladies here so I totally understand what you are going through. If the world then was like it is today, I probably would have had srs.  Only you know what is the right thing to do. I say go for it if that is what you want to do.  I know I just love being a girl.

ok well thans for the welcome everyone but i do have a question or 2.  i looked in the faq and apparently i cant send a private message until i hit 18 posts? also why cant i look at other member's profiles? i wanted to learn more about the people i am talking to but i cant. Oh and one other thing i cant send email to some members. i click the link that shows the email and it says you cant send email.  Now i know i can but its going through this site that is somewhat troublesome.  well thanks again and if some of you like to talk feel free to add me to email or instant messenger cause for some reason i cant even check out profiles but anyway thanks.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think the reason new users are restricted as they are is to prevent trolls and those who are not really serious. If you can commit to 18 good posts (and I think Susan pulls posts that are there just to increase the numbers), then most likely, you are serious about being a member here. People post private information in thee profiles, and not just anyone should be able to see that.

Unless that rule about the 18 posts has been changed when I came here I posted all 18 posts all in one evening, but the posts were pertinent questions directed to what ever the topic in discussion was.

This will also add to your list of posts when you click on the *Show new replies to your posts.* button at the top of the page.

Yes this rule is in place to make sure as to what your intentions are.

well i do have another question.....this may be stupid but how do i upload a pic of myself so it takes the place of the pic of shakira?  basically i want people to see who they are talking to cause its kinda weird not being able to put a name with a face.  Also for those of you that see my face just know im pre hormones so i still have that guy face.....also the pic is like 3 years old so i still have facial hair but that will change soon enough.

Hi Dana I believe it works the same way for personal photos, *18 posts* But I agree with you about having a photo to help recognise or place a persons name by including a photo. It works pretty well to with an avatar.

I have a little difficulty remembering a person just by their name alone, but add a photo or an avatar and I'll remember who they are straight out.
