Have you ever heard of Parinya Charoenphol?
Few people have more interesting "used-to-be" lists than Parinya-- hers includes Buddhist monk, Muay Thai (Thai boxer), model, actor, and man.
As a boy growing up in Thailand, Parinya was aware of her gender-identity. She began training as a boxer in order to pay for a sex-change operation.
