Of Montreal's new record, "Skeletal Lamping," is anything but normal.
The album centers on lead singer Kevin Barnes' alter-ego Georgie
Fruit, a middle-aged black hermaphrodite. Georgie Fruit, who made his
first appearance on Of Montreal's previous album, "Hissing Fauna, Are
You The Destroyer?" is very much in the same vein of David Bowie's
Ziggy Stardust.
