Well if not one thing its another. I just got done with my roommates yet again and I seriously need to hit something. An urge I haven't had this bad for some time.

Long story short they are trying to give me the boot. Which considering that my roommate is the daughter of the attorney general they probably could. Nice to know that lawyers try to instill such high morals in their children instead of running to daddy if they want their way. So considering that they can hire a good lawyer for free, and I would be wasting time and energy I guess I better find a new place to live.

So now that I just got my life turned around and am starting to get better grades, I now have to waste time and energy trying to find a new place. To bad there really isn't anywhere as cheap as it is here or as close. So I really don't know what to do. I guess using the student lawyer could help, but I get the feeling that it would only delay the inevitable.

I am so damn frustrated that i'm being put in this position by people who claim to be adults and yet act like children. Every act I did to try and be a good roommate they are turning around and using as ammo against me. Giving warning about utilities, trying to talk things out, even trying to make compromises all have been used as proof that i'm an irresponsible adult. Never mind that I can point out half a dozen things that they have done that has been in violation of house rules.

I never should have signed that roommates agreement. Let that be a lesson someone can learn from me.

well, terra....sounds like a pretty rotten place to live anyway.  if it's come to the point where your roomates are only going to make trouble for you whatever you do...less stress to just leave!  so what's this about a lawyer?  are you kidding?  you bring that on to them and regardless of any legal outcome your life will be utterly...*....*.

cut your losses and get out of there as soon as possible.

I hear you - pretty friken stressful situation to be in. Sounds like they just don't like living with you any more Terra. It is amazing how quickly things can become nasty and volitile within shared housing situation. Despite all best intentions things can go to custard and people become evil on you.

I'm with Pennyjane. Cut your losses and get out of there as soon as possible and don't look back. It is not worth the stress when all things considered you probably don't want to keep living with them anyway.

What do you think of simply letting them know you get the hint that it is not working out and would appreciate it if they could be civil while you sort your stuff out? Perhaps it will give you a bit of breathing space.
