I have expanded the article in our Wiki on Marriage: http://susans.org/wiki/Marriage to include issues that specifically affect trans people in the USA. I hope you like it!

I think this subject could use more information on trans issues for marriage in other countries. If anyone would like to contribute to this article, please feel free. You do not have to be a member of the Wiki staff to do so, although we recommend it. Thanks!
