Back when the Sally Kern controversy was in the news, I posted a video about her on YouTube. So far, that video has been viewed over 67,000 times and received close to 600 comments before I disabled them (I was sick of reading the homophobic replies in my inbox).

Recently, I began hearing from folks in Ireland who are comparing Sally Kern to Iris Robinson, a member of British Parliament, who made similar homophobic comments during a BBC interview...
Fritz :: The Sally Kern of Ireland

In June 2008, shortly after a homophobic attack on a gay man in the province, she made comments on the BBC Radio Ulster's Stephen Nolan Show offering to recommend homosexuals to psychiatric counselling. While condemning the attack, she said during the broadcast:

"I have a very lovely psychiatrist who works with me in my offices and his Christian background is that he tries to help homosexuals - trying to turn away from what they are engaged in".
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde
