I went to my new doctor appt today and it went really well.  My doctor is really nice and kind of funny, I had no problem talking to him at all.  I printed up a sheet with my meds that I am taking and he renewed my prescriptions and also gave me a referral to a therapist to talk to.  We also discussed my anxiety and depression and he started me out on paxil.  Hopefully that will help my social anxiety.  It feels good to be back on track with my transition again since I left my last therapist about 6 months ago.  We just weren't on the same wavelength.  Anyhow just a status report.

Ahhhh, Paxil.  That brings me back...

Good luck with the new doc & therapist, Audrey.  Make sure the doctor is up front about the side effects from the Paxil - I'm told they can be brutal, and the withdrawal can be hell.  I never felt it myself, but I've done my research.
