Divas set to invade The Venue

Get out your stilettos, feather boas and fake eyelashes, because the
divas are back.
The Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Student Union will host the eighth Diva
Invasion on Thursday at 8 p.m. at the The Venue. Diva Invasion is a
large-scale female impersonator revue. Last year, it won the Knights
of the Round Table award for Event of the Year.
The show is mainly run as a fundraiser for the GLBSU, with 15 percent
of the proceeds going to high school Gay-Straight Alliance programs
this year. GSA programs have been struggling lately, and GLBSU
President Jessica Osborn hopes to give them a boost.
"We're trying to give back to the community," Osborn said.
