If you like men in drag and rubes who mistake 5 o'clock shadow for
blush, boy, do we have the show for you. "Leading Ladies," making its
Long Island premiere at Airport Playhouse, is the latest romp by Ken
("Lend Me a Tenor") Ludwig.

Steve Corbellini and Rob Schindlar play a hammy pair of Shakespearean
actors - Clark & Gable - touring small-town America in the '50s. They
read in the paper that a deathbed dowager (Diana Heinlein) longs to
see her Brit heirs, Steve and Max, before she dies. Trouble is,
they're actually Stephanie and Maxine.
