So I used to be quite active around here, but life has a way of distracting you and throwing blinding curve-balls and stuff, and before you know it you're stuck in a hole and you've kinda let things just slip by the wayside.

So I'm a MtF from South Africa, though I used to live in London till a few months ago. I'm kinda mid-transition/limbo, having started to transition in the UK but kinda getting bogged down now that I'm back home. Between not being able to find experienced therapists or endocrinologists in the area I live, and facing some rather ... robust ... discrimination in finding work, I've kinda let things slide a bit the last while. Here's hoping this new burst of enthusiasm and renewed determination will change things. (Everybody cross your fingers now! ;) )

And to folks I've kinda lost touch with and track of - I undertake to endeavour to correct this most grievous oversight. ;) :P

Welcome back, Simone:

Hmm, work, discrimination. I can relate to that.
I hope that you find something and get back on track.

Cheers

As the immortal Betty Davis lines goes: "Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night!"

I have to go stock up the bar for election night.  Either way it goes, I'm going to want to drink a lot.
