I once had this bright idea to rub bacon on my shoes and I stood in the creek with the lights out at night.

Where else but on this form would you ever get to read a sentence like this.  I put off reading the rest of the post for hours while I contemplated this awesome thought.

I mean, this could so so many wonderful ways - and also have so many horrible conclusions - its just that wide open.

hmmmm........ bacon.........   :)

Sorry Riven, the lights in your eyes, will just turn of my torch for you.....no biting!

One of my coolest and most useless eel spears was one I made from a sharpened silver dinner fork tied to the end of a stick. I figured there were so many little eels about, spaghetti eels I called them, I might as well get me some. The silver was a bonus, in case of wereeels. You never know  :embarrassed:

I like the fishy taste. I never try to hide it.

I used to catch eels but didn't eat any.

I once had this bright idea to rub bacon on my shoes and I stood in the creek with the lights out at night. Turning the torch back on gave me a heart attack as I was ringed by big eels sniffing at my feet. I'm not entirely sure what I expected to happen  ;D

It is unclear to me why we haven't had you put away.

That might be the most awesome sentence I've ever read.

Just so you know, it's contagious. Last night I had a dream where I wore shoes made of salami slices and walked in puddles of water (as even a small creek would have been too deep for them). ::)

Pigs feet are good for making stuff like brawn - you get lots of geletin by boiling them. I hate the bit where you burn off any hair though.

I thought it was a thread about fish for food

Food? No, it's just a thread for anything fishy, like obtaining a license for a pet halibut named Eric.

I live by the ocean and over 300 lakes and ponds.  In the 60's and early 70's, you could drop a hook in the water and have yourself a very merry fish mess in no time.
