Interesting Conversation With My Sister

While talking to my older sister today I told her about how my HRT doc almost didn't recognize me and about going on injections. She was very interested. Then I told her I went out last night as the "real me", that would be no enhancements outside what a typical female would have. Pretty much, that means makeup, clothing, jewelry and maybe perfume (I had all). But when I said, "And that means no wig" she said "Really?" in an interested way, like she was surprised.

So rather than trying to explain this in words I sent her a picture I had just taken. When she got it she said, "You know, your Jim pictures from a couple of years ago all had facial lines. All your recent pictures don't." Then I thought about a two year comparison I saw recently and I noticed the same thing.

Now I've heard many times HRT does marvelous things. I then told her, "Well it has to be the HRT. That's the only major change in my life." She then told me she's post menopausal and her body produces no estrogen. She's been having a lot of health problems. I thought about what zero hormones does to you. Mother Nature doesn't need you anymore. You can't procreate. Bye-Bye!

She asked for the number of my HRT doc and I gave it to her. I only hope he can help her as much as he's helped me.

I just wonder if our being on HRT could in fact fool Mother Nature and make us younger.
???
When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.
