Do you have coffee or tea for breakfast? I'm not officially alive yet without my morning coffee.
A friend just told me they have tea for breakfast. Did you ever hear the like?  :o  ;)

The only thing I drink with breakfast is a small glass of orange juice or V8 juice.

Ei! wie schmeckt der Coffee süße,
Lieblicher als tausend Küsse,
Milder als Muskatenwein.
    Coffee, Coffee muss ich haben,
Und wenn jemand mich will laben,
Ach, so schenkt mir Coffee ein!

Never drink coffee, love tea on occasion but never for breakfast (mid-morning to warm up, or evening to relax)...

Milk and maybe OJ for breakfast ;)

You have to ask? Phillistine! Coffee, of course.

Tea is for later in the day. It is to be sipped. Coffee is a power tool.

Coffee and a lot of it! I can't function without it. I have tried cutting back (which means driniking only 2/3 cups a day) and I sort of failed! I fool myself becasue I mix decaf and regular beans together (half caf) then tell myself I can drink twice as much. :)

I might have 2 or 3 cups a day, too. But, only the first one is caffienated. At my great and advancing age, I can't be staying up all night.

Tea. Damn colonies, forgetting their roots.

tea brewed strong, small drop of milk - no sugar. Gulped down.

Contains caffeine, but also..

"The amino acid L-theanine, found almost exclusively in the tea plant, actively alters the attention networks of the brain, according to results of human trials announced in September 2007. John Foxe, Ph.D., professor of neuroscience, biology and psychology at City College of the City University of New York, found that theanine is absorbed by the small intestine and crosses the blood-brain barrier, where it affects the brain's neurotransmitters and increases alpha brain-wave activity. The result is a calmer, yet more alert, state of mind"

"A 2006 study[24][25] showed that elderly Japanese people who consumed more than 2 cups of green tea a day had a 50 percent lower chance of having cognitive impairment, in comparison to those who drank fewer than 2 cups a day, or who consumed other tested beverages. This is probably due to the effect of EGCG, which passes through the blood-brain barrier."

"According to a study[26] by UCL researchers, drinking black tea lowers stress hormone levels."

"Researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago stated that polyphenols help inhibit the growth of bacteria that cause bad breath"

And many other things, making it a perfect morning boost...  ;D

I'm with you Nero. I need to have my coffee if I'm to be fully functional throughout the day.

Be careful -- OJ might kill you.

Usually tea, though I am having coffee this morning.

But I haven't been to sleep so... yeah.

Coffee, I likes it. Regardless when that definition of "morning" is, like now for instance...
