Coffee or Tea for breakfast?

I usually have Coffee because it's easier to make. Tea is a little of a hassle but I'm lazy

I've heard that the coffee in America is crap. You only have to look at Starbucks. Your milk it crappy too. I can't see how anyone gets a good brew in the states. I feel sorry for you guys, you're like a third world country in terms of coffee quality which is funny when you consider most of the best coffee is grown in third world countries.

That is irony isn't it? My small brain can't handle complex things like irony - Pica pica, what's the definitive ruling? - everyone knows Brits have superior english abilities and Pica's more superior than most, in a humble sort of way.

Anything grown in Central or South America is easy to find.  Why trust a Brit on coffee anyway?

though i think it is because the people that buy the loose beans in england think they are connoisseurs.

Someone who travels between our two decrepit nations told me that you should always order coffee out, but always make tea at home, because it's hard to get the perfect or even adequate tea, but easy enough to get okay coffee.

Though I once smelt a McDonald's coffee and it smelled of mud...i suppose it had been ground that morning.

It's a lot harder to find good tea here, and almost never in a resturaunt, where they serve some stuff like Stash or similar brand.  But if you go to some of the real good food stores, you can find pretty good tea, all imported of course.  At least Justin Lloyd, which seems to be at least OK.

But we have two companies Peet's and Tully's that do their own local roasting, and a couple of old line family places that still roast on site, like in North Beach.  So the good coffee is always there, and yeah, I buy loose beans, well not too lose, I put them in a bag and all.

I'd never drink McDee's coffee, iccky.

Wow I had starbucks for the first time the other day and thought it was a step above anything I've had before. Not like I've had the supposed best or anything though. It didn't have that acidic, catpee flavor that most others have.

For the morning I do cocacola like an idiot, I really need to switch to tea or juice but am hooked!

The standard coffee rule applies, which states that where ever, and whenever you really, really, need coffee, what they have will be the worst coffee you've ever tasted.

Wouldn't know, I have a very serious allergy to offices, break out if I even get near one.  But I know a lot about driving long distances at night, which is where the rule comes from.  Nebraska to be exact.  About mile marker 200 (out of 490).
