The Essential Dave Brubeck 2-disk set, The Essential Stan Getz, and Buddy Rich - The New One.  (Well, new in 1967.)  I list all three because I haven't bought more than one album at a time since the 70s.  The Buddy Rich album actually is the first duplication in my collection; the record album is mightily worn, otherwise I might have explored copying it to CD on the computer.  I've got to get with at least 1990s technology before it totally leapfrogs me in to some weird thing maybe called MP3 or IPod or some such.  I would never deny that my tech understanding only slightly post dates my music tastes.

Totally off subject; Does moving along a trans-gender path of advancement (growth?) (progress?) (change?) (all of the above?) (None of the above?) change our music tastes.  Brandi for instance says no new music purchase in seven years and she has a music degree.  Interests change, even go away.  Does this cause or effect that?  Personally, not that I can see.

I'm not much into music for some reason.. I have about 6 cd's in my car that's it, none here in the house aside from some xmas ones and b->-bleeped-<-ipe cd's my dad used to like bag pipe mucis i do too, very relaxing, sad sounding too!
anyway in car bryan adams, Ac/Dc, Meatloaf, Maria Carey, Guns & Roses, Van halen
bought in past two years - nothing..
I just do not know how to explain it?  I'll listen to music but i do not get it or get into it?
It's like background music for me that's it?  same as leaves rustling or a camp fire crackling..
Although that is quite different and very friendly!

Kenna, New Sacred Cow.  Great album.  Kenna has an amazing voice.

Look on YouTube for the video to "Hell Bent" from this album.  It is all kinds of awesome.

OK, I'm going to date myself on this one.  The last actual album I bought was a half speed mastered copy of Boston. :o  Now the last cd's I bought were the 30th Anniversary Edition of Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Heart The Hits and Eagles The Very Best Of to download to my Nano.  Sheesh, whatever happened to 45's, transistor radios and where's my walking cane?

:embarrassed:  It would seem that we are contemporaries.

"45s" - I remember those.  The only one of those that I ever purchased was [ahem] acquired many a year ago:

"Born to be Alive" - Patrick Hernandez [hey, the tune rocks!] :embarrassed: ;D
