Scariest movie moments ever!

So this came up in another thread, and I thought it deserved a thread of its own:

What was the scariest most scarring thing you ever saw in a movie? It doesn't need to be from a horror film, just something that ABSOLUTELY freaked you out and scarred you for life.

For me it was when the high priest of Kali rips out the heart of the sacrificial victim in The Temple of Doom, right before he drops him in that pit of fire. I was four or five at the time, and my mom and dad had rented it 'cause my dad wanted to watch it. Not pretty.

Temple of Doom, had it been made by just about anyone else, would have got an R rating slapped on it, of course, had it been made by other people it would not have been nearly that good either.
