Hello,I am Ashton and I have been dressing and living fulltime as a female since I was 15.I am 30 years old and love my new life.I pretty much felt I was feminine since I was born and went through constant teasing being called names including by my bilogical father. My father called me fem boy, pansy and many more.My mom whom was by my side and still is had enough of it giving him an ultimatum: Accept me as I am or leave. He left and we do not talk anymore.I also have a wonderful sister Becca that loves me and accepts as I am.I have a girlfriend,Jaime of 6 years whom understands I am going through. She is a post op transsexual that has helped me through.

My mom knew this was the only option to do when I was 15.I was diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria when I was 15 by a gender specialist. She still loves me and does not regret doing this.I am very lucky to have a role model in my life,my step father and he also knows he understands. He is a post op female to male transsexual for 12 years now.The teasing part broke me down to nothing and I almost killed myself.

Welcome.
I know it's been tough, but you are one lucky girl.
Stop for a few minutes, go through the site and see the pain. You have pain but you also have acceptance.
Enjoy

Hi Ashton! I envy you SOOO much for the courage to transition at such an early age :)  even if your dad wasn't supportive you are really lucky to have such a caring mother and sister.

Hi Ashton,   :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 1490 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another sister.   :icon_hug:

And like most here I wish i could have transitioned at 15, instead of 54.  It sounds like the women in your life understand, That is great.

Hello Ashton and welcome to Susan's!  You are fortunate to have started so young!  Too bad your father wasn't supportive, but at least you have family who are.  There is much information to be found here, plenty of advice and support.  I think you'll enjoy it!
