I am a believer in buying one size smaller for tucking, unfortunately the smallest panty size I can get isn't small enough.  However, I came to a solution to that problem but cutting off the bottom by a few inches and re-stitching it so that it's snug around the waist but tight over the groin.

I'm still a really athletic girl so I tend to use panties for every day stuff, but thongs for a very tight and firm fit for when I'm sparring or wrestling or running.

And I've discovered that thongs tend to elicit a temporary erection.  I'm not turned on, or at least I'm not acknowledging it if I am, but obviously stimulated.

Does anyone else have this?  I mean, I was curious if it was just my body's natural response to the situation or if it were something mental, like a thong being "erotic" or something on a subconscious level.

It might be that it's stimulating your perineum area more than normal panties do. The perineum is very sensitive to stimulation, and yeah, the way a thong is constructed ... there's a reason it's called a "deur-trekkertjie" in Afrikaans. I've always wondered what kind of people go into the porn industry.  I'm really amazed at how good a lot of the "stars" look in ->-bleeped-<- porn - passable on many different levels.  And they look like they're having a lot of fun most of the time.

But I agree with your opinion, and would like to add that any kind of porno is inherently disgusting and degrading, not only to the people making it but to the people watching it too.  It reminds me of "1984", how they make pornos specifically for the "proles".  It's sad that we can't fulfill our sexual needs with other human beings, and instead turn to flickering images....

Anyway, back to the thong point: thongs are the only underwear that give me a sexual response (i.e. engorged genital area), and I find it's just the whole thing: butt cheek flossing, how tight it is, how it accentuates the female figure (makes your butt feel more full).  If you want to get rid of the feeling, just wear thongs around until they no longer give you that sexual response.
