I noticed that almost every film dealing with transgendered/transsexual people are really dramatic and bleak. The lead usually dies. The films that aren't in the critically dramatic genre are usually films that mock the people they are based on or they are tales of teaching some one a lesson. What do you all make of this?

Going back as far as, oh say, the Greeks, there have been two kinds of plays.  Tragedy and Comedy.  Pick one.  In Tragedy everyone dies - or should.  In Comedy everyone gets laughed at.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

I watched 'wild tigers I have know" recently and I thought it was rather good.. but yes I have also seen a few negative ones I usually avoid any that sound negative.. don't need to see it. My mother made my father (who doesn't know) watch a german movie called 'agnas and his brothers', I thought it was great personally but my mother didnt get it and apparently my father kept saying "thats a bloke isnt it?" when ever agnas was on screen. :P
