Digital Piano with a Ring Modulator

I've got a Roland EP-9. It has decent sounds, but they could be better.

I was wondering: has anyone out there ever tried running a digital piano through a ring modulator? I know how to use the effects send/loop on the EP-9, so it should be possible. But, it'll be a bit tricky to test this. The EP-9 is discontinued, so it's unlikely that I'd be able to go to a music store and ask to have some one connect a ring-mod to one.

I guess I could ask to try any digital piano through a ring mod, but some sound better than the EP-9.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Well most sampler based keyboards should have ring modulation capabilities. any the Lovetone Ring Stinger.
