Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, and his caucus colleagues got what is being called a "bipartisan agreement." But this is not a case of less being more.
The Senate's $780 billion plan is still a budget buster.
It's just not focused on spending as much of the money as the House sought to on renewing the economy.Do the people who invented this tax-cuts=more jobs and properity for all realize just how effective they've been? Otherwise sensible human beings actually buy the notion that if you just give me a 5% flat rate tax on $5 billion/year income I'll make everything better for everyone else!!
This crap would be laughable if it weren't so damned serious and so deadly.
