Hi all,
I am living in Mississippi atm, born and grew up in Seattle and Everett WA. Moving down here was a dramatic change 2 years ago (heat, culture, environment), but I felt compelled to meet and move in with a lady that I met in a online game (Everquest).

We have sort of many things working againsts us and I dont know why we are together: different religions, politics, employment, ages (33 vs 54).

I myself of course play the feminine roll of the household, and she the masculine.

I try to follow certain natural behavior in my interaction with her. I dont expect her to recipricate. From what I have read from other people, things either work, or have no chance of working. She has known about my Androgyne diagnosis from the beginning. When she invited me down, I had no idea what to expect, but have just tried staying open minded, and allowing her to feel what she feels naturally. She, tries to push me more than I am comfortable sometimes towards my Androgyne inclinations, whereas I would normally hesitate.

Thanks for letting me join this message board, and for taking the time and energy to build and maintain it.

Hello Kendra,

Welcome to Susan's.  You will find all kinds of information here, and meet many wonderful people who are more than willing to help and advise in any way they can.  Take advantage of that, and be sure to participate, the more the merrier.

On your transition, you haven't mentioned how or if it is in the works, but remember your transsexuallity and/or your transition, is your business, and no one elses.  Do not ever let yourself be forced into doing something you do not want to do ,ever.

In the mean time, stay a while, relax, and have fun.

hello Kendra,

it seems we have some things in common, i met my SO online and we have been very happily living together for about 9 months. she is 30 and i am 58. she was born lesbian and i was born transsexual and have always identified myself as lesbian and with other lesbians. we are different in that we are equal partners in all things from business, our relationship and sex.
my partner is from the south and we are moving to the portland/vancouver area, the opposite of your move. i visited her in the south and it is quite a culture shock, my partner and i look forward to a somewhat more openminded society in portland.
i believe sometimes if we really love someone it is ok to sacrifice a bit to make them happy. i also believe that if we really love someone we will not ask them to make themselves too uncomfortable, especially concerning something as close to the heart as transsexuality.

thanks for joining us and posting Kendra, you have already shown yourself to be caring and loving woman.

love

beth
