A transsexual left traumatised after being abused in the street yesterday urged more victims of hate crime to come forward after seeing her attacker jailed.

Norwich barmaid Michelle Nall, who had been living as a woman for 18 months at the time of the attack in June last year, desperately tried to call police as she was subjected to verbal abuse, chased down the road and suffered the final humiliation of having her wig pulled off.

Nice to have some good news. I'm glad they chose to publicize it to hopefully make others feel comfortable coming forward. I hope the victim was ok with it being reported.
