http://pamshouseblend.com/showDiary.do;jsessionid=ED2EB690BC7C739B8AA09F609243E2D1?diaryId=9670I have been more worried about having my teeth cleaned -- the Bush Admin rule was written so broadly that I, as a bisexual/omnisexual and a transsexual, can be denied any sort of medical care or filling of a prescription because a health care provider may decide not to treat me at all based on my sexual orientation or my gender identity. And, if you too in any way could be considered gay, lesbian, or bisexual, or transgender by a healthcare provider or his, her, or hir staff, you too may have had the same concerns I have had about even basic healthcare:
[C]ritics complained the language of the rule is overly broad, covering any "activity related in any way to providing medicine, healthcare and other service relative to health and welfare."
