Hello, everyone. I'm Sarah, set to turn 19 in April, and I came onto this boards before but left for a while... I am back now, though. ^^ I have beeing seeing a very reliable transgender specialist in my state for over a year now, and in January I got an approval letter to go in and see a doctor for beginning HRT. A few meetings and tests later, it all came down to yesterday, 'the' day. I got my first couple of shots of hormones, and now it all really begins... I'm so excited I sometimes am left speechless. o.o

Thank you. ^^ I have been told many times that I should be achieving wonderful results... I hope so!

I've been feeling sick ever since my visit to the doctor... is this more likely to be a coincidence, or can this happen as a result of the hormones? I'm really feeling ill, and I get some aches sometimes. ._.

Congratulations! :)

You may want to tell your doc if you're feeling sick.

Congratulations on getting HRT. You may have some stress and nerve problems in the anticipation of HRT. My diagnosis would be go to the Medical Bay. I mean Centre.

If you do not agree to my demands... TOO LATE

Okay. I will. ^^ I'll of course report how I've felt sick when I go in again for my next shot, which is soon; I'm getting them every two weeks, and I'll soon be able to administer them at home.

Yeah =) Finally, after all this waiting...

I wonder when I'll finally start seeing some effects... o.o

Thanks Cindi. ^^

It varies from person to person.  I didn't see any changes until well after my surgery.  None... nada.... NOTHING.  My face softened some... which was actually the best thing that could have happened.

But today, the drugs are a different mix and I'm pretty sure that most have something happen.  So... who knows?  You may feel a bit off as far as your moodiness.  That's usually the first thing that I've heard happen.

Yeah, it should be about 10 months at most before I 'optimally develop' all of the effects really well, like breasts and my body shape. I've been told several times I'll get great results. I'm just so darn impatient and excited that I'm looking every few hours every day for the smallest sign of a change, even though I just started... I'd love to say my skin feels softer but I bet I'm just wishfully imagining it! I have not yet experienced any radical change in my moodiness... yet. o.o

Arrgh, why do I feel so jealous?  ::)

I hope you do well...

Thank you, it's been so long waiting for this. It's sometimes overwhelming to think I'm actually on the path to my physical change like this. o.o And ow, my chest be hurting. I hope that's a good sign. xD
