ok..i'm seriously not trying to sound mean or disrespectful, but if i do i apologize in advance.

what does an IS person do(for identification) say if they are born with both reproductive feautures but are assigned Male at birth, but know they should be Female?

what do they do if it's the opposite way around?

what if they don't want surgery to correct any physical "defects" but would prefer their documentation say they were the appropriate gender they know they are?

I know one intersex person who was identified as male even got drafted by the army. Unfortunately hospitals would normally give them a gender assignment shortly after birth. That practice is wrong and has stopped to the best of my knowledge. The intersex person I mentoned is now becoming 100% female and seems very happy.

I identify as female.... My ID shows female for most cases, apart from legal sex, which is still male for some reason? (beurocrats)

If someone identifies as male or female, the chances of them NOT wanting to be entirely either or is slim... Most is people are not even transgender btw.... they are generally happy with thier birth body... ast hey dont know any better that they are is till they are told... say... at firtility clinics...

If someone identifies as IS, they can keep thier birth defects all they want, as long as its clinically safe to do so... so many IS cases are NOT safe to leave... its why genetal surgery in infants still occurs... doctors have an overriding need to see the child LIVES rather than leaving them entirely as born for 'them to decide'
I grew up feeling i was TS... i started transition as a ts person, and my biological enimga was discovered after 9 months o self medicating hrt... (my doctor gave me blood tests) and this picked up anomalies... Identity is the same as for ts people... some id as Is women, Is men, Intersexed or just men and women.... Im one of those women, nuf said.

For intersexed people, it depends... If they are happy in thier birth sex and given sex when finding out they are IS, it doesnt have to change just because say... a AIS woman finds out shes xy... that would be damn cruel...

As for say... a 'male' born child transitioning, only to find out they are IS, and say, have xx chromasomes... It can be 'corrected' and ID changed pretty easily. I know i have  an F on all my legal doccuments and ive not had genetal corective surgery yet.... It was just changed when i asked...

I wonder if anyone has ever had a birth cirtificate that was like a clerical error? I wonder how hard it was for them to change it back.
