Hello everyone! I'm Naomi, er well that's the name I want to be called. My legal name is Steven. I've just made several decisions regarding myself and, this is a major cliche but cliches get that way from being true a lot, it feel like a major weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I'm a woman on the inside but right now a man on the outside. I just made the decision to transition a few days ago and I finally came out to my friends today... fortunately they're the supportive type.  :D

Well, that's all about me right now, unless anyone wants to read the e-mail that I sent my friends.  ::) Yea, I know. I came out to them by e-mail. But I admit, I was scared and nervous about coming out to them in person and normally they're at my house anyway so telling them in a place where my family could over hear isn't the best place. I'm definately not ready to tell my family yet.

Hi Naomi, welcome to Susan's. Hang your fancy hat with the pretty flowers and long plume on the peg over there and pull up a chair and set by the fire place a spell. I am sure that are many others here shortly who will be here to chat it up with you over tea and scones.

 yea that would be nice. Although what passes for scones on this side of the Atlantic is probably not as good as in England.

It takes a lot to actually admit it to your friends. I know I had a lot of mixed feelings about it.

Hi Naomi, Welcome. I'd like to know what's in the stew. Let me think? Ah, the moose is longer a bull moose. There are scones in many countries but with different names. I'm certainly happy for you and your decision. I'm a crossdresser. (CD) You will certainly find alot of support and kindness here. Hugs, Genevieve

Just like you, I just didn't know how to tell her in person.
And I haven't told my family.
Anyway, welcome Naomi...  ;)

Hi Naomi,   :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 1900 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another sister.   :icon_hug:

If Cindy makes that stew right it is full of Moose, Bear, and Deer.  And if she lets it cook long enough the Moose and Bear are quite tender. Yummmm.

Hi dear sweet ladies Janet and Naomi The stew could contain dear, moose, antelope, mountain goat during the good hunting season, but during the lean times in the winter you may very well find beaver, rabbit, partridge , fish, even raccoon in the stew pot, and if thing get realy bad it has also been known to throw in mice or some white mans horse in the pot for meet. Then add wild rice, corn, and a type of root about the size and shape of a beat and then there is another smaller root bulb that tastes like potatoes and leaks for onions.Mmmmmmmm really good. Don't worry, we don't cook white people, to big, wont fit in the birch bark stewing bowls. "Hee, hee, hee."

Yea native people are also well known for their weird sense of humor.

Hi Naomi, welcome to Susan's.  :icon_wave: Being a die hard Midwestener all I can offer is bacon, eggs, toast and a plate of artery clogging biscuits and gravy :). Hugs and hope you enjoy our not so little family and the wonderful information that can be gleaned here.
