Very little of what I disliked about the Kingdom had to do with Islam, but more to do with Kings and Princes.  Perhaps that's a very American deal, we're not very fond of kings (except Elvis) as a cultural deal.  But royalty (Saudi royalty) seems to have a unique sense of entitlement and a streak of laziness that combined kind of gives a lot of Americans nausea when they see it up close and personal. I mean its OK for Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian, but not for our leaders. 

And Nichole I always try to change, and at times I almost get it right.

Totally agree and believe me it's certainly not just an American thing!

It's that combined with their puritanical version of Islam which of course they themselves... Seriously they are so messed up that they have destroyed  many historic sites connected to the history of Islam itself:
