Other than a few games of Mah Jong, pretty much the last video game I played was Pong.  But I play cards at work like a religion.  A computer can be a tool or a toy, and I prefer the first use.

The English hate me for some reason! And as soon as I have a sizable kingdom going, it gets assaulted and wiped out by the bleeding English!

Xenogears - the scene where Fei and Elly visit her house after all the crap they go through in Solaris.

FFVI - Celes' suicide attempt after the world has fallen apart.

Chrono Cross - when Luca makes you realize that all you did in Chrono Trigger was screw everything up and all the sadness that resulted from it.

but the most emotional of all

Valkyrie Profile - Lenneth... just Lenneth - and the scene with the earring.  Gosh that will tear your heart out.

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (Saria being practically sacrificed was sad. Also the ending, for so many reasons.)

For me it's more like making the time rather than finding it. I'm a CG artist by trade (I created my avatar image for example) so I use the excuse that it's work related research lol

same for me,

some games are social and i make the time to go on them and spend time with peoples i know and care about. no different than spending time online or doing something in the house really and i rather spend it with them anyway

Suikoden V

That one did the most. It starts off emotional and keeps getting progressively more heartwrenching with a climax that is positively a Kleenex ad. You wonder how much one person can take.

I agree about Lost Odyssey, that's a real tearjerker, too.

Resident Evil 1 for PS1

When Barry dies if you get the bad ending...oh man..it makes me cry every time. The letter he gives Jill to take to his family is so touching and just wow...even though that game has corny acting that part is just so heartbreaking

Metal Gear 4

(spoiler ahead)

To me, Metal Gear is one of the best games ever. I grew up with that game. I've been playing it since I was probably 7 or 6 years old. And to play part 4 and see some of my favorite characters die like Naomi, Vamp, EVA, and so on it's just....augh!1 The part where Naomi and Vamp died just had me in tears. And the ending with Big Boss and the music in the credits...omg..instant tears


Kingdom Hearts 2

(spoiler ahead)

The whole Organization getting killed off? To me that is not a happy ending. Seeing Axel die almost made me cry but now I don't care now that I found out Axel killed Vexen


Zelda The Ocarina of Time (no spoiler)

The music you learn on the Ocarina in that game is just so beautiful it almost makes me cry. The scenery in that game is also very beautiful to me even though it's on N64/Gamecube

Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness (not to spoil it, but somebody dies for greater good)
Sanitarium (the childhood chapter)
Prey (ending)
Radical Dreamers (a text based Super Famicom game, lots of crys in it)
Dragon Quest 6
there are more, but i have to dig them from my big bin of games to remember them
