DragonGirl

Howdy, I am retired and now live in central Wisconsin, U.S. I realized very very young I should have been a female, likes, dislikes and not fitting into the male mold. The usual mother clothes and make-up as a young person and spending lots of time with the girls instead of with the males, luckily the neighbor girls thought it was cute and let me dress up with them and play with make up. By the time I was of the age of say 10 all the girls moved and left me in a your on your own mode. By the time I was in the service and made many trips to Thailand and found the "Lady-boys" and found there were places that didn't have a stigma attached to mind set. Also all my time in remote jungle places and found that most Shaman's ( who btw showed both male and female mannerisms) were elevated as being able to utilize both the Ying and Yang and to be connected to the universe in all respects. Also I would like to say alright to the folks that have the Wiccan Quotes to their signatures.  I am very comfortable with myself, It's most everyone else that has difficulty with my ability to shift on a dime. I really enjoy having the best of both worlds. I've been touching base here for a couple of months without registering. A couple of days ago I tried searching for a T friendly hair/wig stylist in the central Wisc. area when hark I was informed that I had to register in order to search, the nudge I needed to register. I also read many threads to get a feel for Susan's and check out the rules ect ect.

I have a wife who knew before we were married but not to what extent. After having a discussion and explaining the complexity of society when it is alright for her to wear jeans, gray t-shirts and work boots and doing male projects and that was all right but if I showed feminity then all bets were off ( for her instead of dinner and a show, places with large power tools and powerful trucks are her idea of a good time out, she can spend hourssss at these places.). She saw the hypocrisy to the situation and things are much better now. There is only one caveat, we can go out shopping but not feminine attired while with her. All in all I am a very lucky person. For me the ability to have the best of both worlds working without the predjices a female encounters and the ability of being able to shift to my internal prime directive DragonGirl is great. I also enjoy Fishing and all outdoor activities including dropping trees and chopping firewood and molecular chemistry concerning Alt. Fuels and experiments, although my favorite is shopping for clothes so I can be as pretty as I wish to be. In the late 90's I spent a fair amount of time going to a tg/ts group in Milwaukee and enjoyed the group but really enjoyed the after meeting activities, going out and dancing ect.  Lots of love to all of you and thanks Susan for the Forum.

BTW how does one do spell check here. Between my typing and spelling I need all the help I can get.

Welcome to the site, Dragongirl. Thank you for your wonderful intro. My spouse is accepting of my dressing though she won't go out with me while I'm dressed  ;D. I love the feminine side of me. I still enjoy many male activities so I have found a balance.

Hi Dragongirl,   :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 2100 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion. Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers.  Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now.  And it is always nice to have another sister.   :icon_hug:

Welcome, DragonGirl.  Some of your story sounds similar to mine - fit in better as a girl, lots of girl friends until the rush of T ruined that for me, career military, understanding wife (to a point).

For long posts, write in Word and cut and paste.

Thanks for the welcomes and for the write in open office and paste the post. The Wife keeps telling me to do just that but on the other hand at the Ethanol board if I use that method they are so fast that by the time I type a response they have a warning " A message was posted while you were writing and I would lose my response. I will start using that method and save myself some irritation.
