Is there any research on using Aromatase to convert Testosterone into Estrogen, rather than using Spiro?
Any research on using Aromatase to suppliment HRT or producing synthetic/artificial Aromatase?
Evidently, (looking at the first response below), I need to clarify. Aromatase is the enzyme, produced naturally by female fat cells, that converts testosterone into estrogen. It seems logical to me that using Aromatase to convert testoserone directly into estrogen would be significantly preferable to using Spiro to block testosterone and also taking estrogen. Like killing two birds with one stone. I just think that since Aromatase has no real commercial use, nobody manufactures it, and we wind up with Spiro because it's a next-best option.
