I remember... I remember how torn up I was over her.
I'm glad I know some more of the details.
ANd furthermore, I'm glad to know her murderer is behind bars.
Just a note while we're on the topic of hate crime, I just wanted to share that in the interval since I've gone fulltime, owning firearms has saved my life twice now, I've had one stalker follow me home and I had to use them, possibly for a hate crime or possibly because he saw my legal name pharmacy intern certificate at work as a male and got some twisted fantasy in his head, and another time similiar.
I know it's not, "girly" to have guns or mace or whatever, and many consider it politically incorrect, but in all honesty it's a good thing to have if you're under a higher risk of assault or rape, as is the case of a transwoman or a transman. I will honestly say that having someone follow you home from work and chase you inside your own house until you reached your shotgun did what you had to do would have been a lot better than having someone follow you home from work, chase you inside, and god knows what happens.
I said it back when Angie first got murdered: it's a war. Protect yourself.
