I <3 U poem

It is impossible to capture in words the feelings I have for you. They are the strongest feelings that I have ever had about anybody. Yet when I try to tell you or try to write them to you. The words do not even begin to touch the depths of my feelings. Maybe the word love was invented to explain. The deep passionate feelings that I have for you, somehow it is not strong enough. But since it is the best word that let me tell you a thousand times I love you more than "love".

If I say

I love you
Is that all I
Mean?  Do I
Only love you
Or is it much
Deeper than that?
Or does it end with

Simply "love," all
Feelings being wrapped
Up in that small word?
I know there is love
But what more is there?
What more is in that word

Inclusive?  Love I've already
Mentioned, but I see much
More than that, friendship, trust
Happiness, togetherness, passion,
Faith, hope, dreams, loyalty,

Patience, laughter and that
Indescribable felling that you
Can only feel and know and understand

—You know—
And is emotion all there is?
What about yahtzee, and feathers
And hopping feet?  What about
Stories and dreams and scenarios?
What about passionate love,
Love that exhilarates, excites and exuberates?
Love that inspires.

The kind of love that's an adventure,
Full of twists and turns and
Unexpected trails.  Trails which
Curious hikers and bears and spiders
Travel upon and around.

—You know what kind of love I'm talking about,
Dearest!

Of course you know- we are
One together through it all—
The fun parts of love and the hard parts.
Darling, just know that no matter what happens,
I'll always love you and be there for you—
Like you're there for me.  Only patience and waiting
Will bring that which we want most—

You know—
You, who is forever and always
In my heart.
Yes, we must wait, for alone time
And togetherness forever.
So know, dearest, that

When I say
I love you
It means more than
Simply that.

To the Thawing Wind

Come with rain. O loud Southwester!
Bring the singer, bring the nester;
Give the buried flower a dream;
make the settled snowbank steam;
Find the brown beneath the white;
But whate'er you do tonight,
bath my window, make it flow,
Melt it as the ice will go;
Melt the glass and leave the sticks
Like a hermit's crucifix;
Burst into my narrow stall;
Swing the picture on the wall;
Run the rattling pages o'er;
Scatter poems on the floor;
Turn the poet out of door.

Robert Frost

Into My Own

One of my wishes is that those dark trees,
So old and firm they scarcely show the breeze,
Were not, as 'twere, the merest mask of gloom,
But stretched away unto th eedge of doom.

I should not be withheld but that some day
into their vastness I should steal away,
Fearless of ever finding open land,
or highway where the slow wheel pours the sand.

I do not see why I should e'er turn back,
Or those should not set forth upon my track
To overtake me, who should miss me here
And long to know if still I held them dear.

They would not find me changed from him the knew--
Only more sure of all I though was true.

THE TUFT OF FLOWERS

I went to turn the grass once after one
Who mowed it in the dew before the sun.
The dew was gone that made his blade so keen
Before I came to view the leveled scene.
I looked for him behind an isle of trees;
I listened for his whetstone on the breeze.
But he had gone his way, the grass all mown,
And I must be, as he had been -- alone,
'As all must be,' I said within my heart,
'Whether they work together or apart.'
But as I said it, swift there passed me by
On noiseless wing a bewildered butterfly,
Seeking with memories grown dim o'er night
Some resting flower of yesterday's delight.
And once I marked his flight go round and round,
As where some flower lay withering on the ground.
And then he flew as far as eye could see,
And then on tremulous wing came back to me.
I thought of questions that have no reply,
And would have turned to toss the grass to dry;
But he turned first, and led my eye to look
At a tall tuft of flowers beside a brook,
A leaping tongue of bloom the scythe had spared
Beside a reedy brook the scythe had bared.
The mower in the dew had loved them thus,
By leaving them to flourish, not for us,
Nor yet to draw one thought of ours to him.
But from sheer morning gladness at the brim.
The butterfly and I had lit upon,
Nevertheless, a message from the dawn,
That made me hear the wakening birds around,
And hear his long scythe whispering to the ground,
And feel a spirit kindred to my own;
So that henceforth I worked no more alone;
But glad with him, I worked as with his aid,
And weary, sought at noon with him the shade;
And dreaming, as it were, held brotherly speech
With one whose thought I had not hoped to reach.
'Men work together,' I told him from the heart,
'Whether they work together or apart.'

The Trial by Existence

Even the bravest that are slain
  Shall not dissemble their surprise
On waking to find valor reign,
  Even as on earth, in paradise;
And where they sought without the sword
  Wide fields of asphodel fore'er,
To find that the utmost reward
Of daring should be still to dare.

The light of heaven falls whole and white
And is not shattered into dyes,
The light forever is morning light;
  The hills are verdured pasture-wise;
The angle hosts with freshness go,
And seek with laughter what to brave;--
And binding all is the hushed snow
  Of the far-distant breaking wave.

And from a cliff-top is proclaimed
The gathering of the souls for birth,
The trial by existence named,
  The obscuration upon earth.
And the slant spirits trooping by
In streams and cross- and counter-streams
Can but give ear to that sweet cry
For its suggestion of what dreams!

And the more loitering are turned
To view once more the sacrifice
Of those who for some good discerned
  Will gladly give up paradise.
And a white shimmering concourse rolls
Toward the throne to witness there
The speeding of devoted souls
Which God makes his especial care.

And none are taken but who will,
Having first heard the life read out
That opens earthward, good and ill,
  Beyond the shadow of a doubt;
And very beautifully God limns,
  And tenderly, life's little dream,
But naught extenuates or dims,
Setting the thing that is supreme.

Nor is there wanting in the press
Some spirit to stand simply forth,
Heroic in it nakedness,
  Against the uttermost of earth.
The tale of earth's unhonored things
  Sounds nobler there than 'neath the sun;
And the mind whirls and the heart sings,
And a shout greets the daring one.

But always God speaks at the end:
'One thought in agony of strife
The bravest would have by for friend,
  The memory that he chose the life;
But the pure fate to which you go
  Admits no memory of choice,
Or the woe were not earthly woe
To which you give the assenting voice.'

And so the choice must be again,
  But the last choice is still the same;
And the awe passes wonder then,
And a hush falls for all acclaim.
And God has taken a flower of gold
And broken it, and used therefrom
The mystic link to bind and hold
Spirit to matter till death come.

'Tis of the essence of life here,
Though we choose greatly, still to lack
The lasting memory at all clear,
That life has for us on the wrack
Nothing but what we somehow chose;
Thus are we wholly stipped of pride
In the pain that has but one close,
  Bearing it crushed and mystified.

Robert Frost

Good Hours

I had for my winter evening walk--
No one at all with whom to talk,
But I had the cottages in a row
Up to their shining eyes in snow.

And I thought I had the folk within:
I had the sound of a violin;
I had a glimpse through curtain laces
Of youthful forms and youthful faces.

I had such company outward bound.
I went till there were no cottages found.
I turned and repented, but coming back
I saw no window but that was black.

Over the snow my creaking feet
Disturbed the slumbering village street
Like profanation, by your leave,
At ten o'clock of a winter eve.

Your My Girl

Before I met you
I didn't know that kind of person exist
I took a thought and
Knew my life was a miss
I took my time and get to know you untill this day and
All the miss has gone away.

my girl song
QuoteIt's me and you, one on one, against the world

Every man needs a woman, every boy needs a girl

In my world I'm just a squirrel trying to get a nutt

Thought it was love seems like it turned to lust

Tell me what's up, baby am I wasting my time?
I would love to get with you, and have a family of mine

It's me and you, one on one, against the world

Every man needs a woman, every boy needs a girl

In my world I'm just a squirrel, trying to get a nutt

Thought it was love seems like it turned to lust

Tell me what's up, baby am I wasting my time?
I would love to get with you, and have a family of mine

[Mr. Marcelo]

Me and my girl, better yet me and my shawty
Early morn', smoke a blunt, drink a half of forty

What's the half baby?, you know you got to be down

And show me love, cause don't nobody want no scrub

What's up?, you know the half baby, cause it's you

And ain't no better picture than this 80 and you

I know the money ain't right, but soon it will be

I'ma make a better life for you if it kills me

In a mintue, it's gonna be gravy, you ain't gonna want for ->-bleeped-<-
Not cause you stuck with a nigga, because you deserve the ->-bleeped-<-

Young black queen, you need one on your team

When it rains and it storms, you'll be sleeping in arms

Deep in a poem, lies around, that shows your trust

it shows those times that y'all fussed, it didn't mean that much

For such a little thang, it's all blown up in flames
Now you think I'm 'bout to pack and leave my lil' mane?

Hell no, it ain't that easy, when done been through to much

It's some ->-bleeped-<-, down the toilet, kinda hard to flush
Hush, close your mouth, cause I'm through with that fussin'

Hit the lights, bump the Lauryn Hill, let's start this lovin'

Chorus: [Mr. Marcelo]

It's me and you, one on one, against the world

Every man needs a woman, every boy needs a girl

In my world I'm just a squirrel trying to get a nutt

Thought it was love seems like it turned to lust

Tell me what's up, baby am I wasting my time?

It's me and you, one on one, against the world

I would love to get with you, and have a family of mine

[Mr. Marcelo]

Diamond rangs and big chains, you can have those thangs

Jags, Coups, Camry hoops, you can have those thangs
That's nothing to a player when he's made it to his label

We make love all night long with big faces on the table

Remember that house you talked about?, two hundred arces of land
->-bleeped-<- cars, we ride stars, or doonebuggies in the sand

Sippin' moet, a night that you'll never forget
Pour champange down your chest and you're drippin' wet

You think it's a game?, nah baby this everlasting

At night, on your wrist, they feel platinum plasterd
Private jets, 50 jets, from Cali to Texas

In the morning, when you're awake, it's just some kind ghetto breakfast

Me and you baby, mother->-bleeped-<- the haters

Cause it's made when we step we rock the two-tone gators

Served proper by the waiters, all food be catered
You ain't gotta see the kitchen, you just lay there and say it

If you want something, you ain't gottta ask for nothing

It's the new millenuim baby, push the button

You wanna take a vaction, how far you wanna go?

Africa?, Jamica?, France?, or Puerto Rico?

Chorus: [Mr. Marcelo]

It's me and you, one on one, against the world
Every man needs a woman, every boy needs a girl

In my world I'm just a squirrel trying to get a nutt

Thought it was love seems like it turned to lust
Tell me what's up, baby am I wasting my time?

It's me and you, one on one, against the world

Every man needs a woman, every boy needs a girl

In my world I'm just a squirrel, trying to get a nutt
Thought it was love seems like it turned to lust

Tell me what's up, baby am I wasting my time?

I would love to get with you, and have a family of mine

It's me and you....

MY GIRL

I've got sunshine on a cloudy day.
When it's cold outside I've got the month of May.
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl (my girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl (my girl).

I've got so much honey the bees envy me.
I've got a sweeter song than the birds in the trees.
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl (my girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl (my girl).

Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Ooooh.

I don't need no money, fortune, or fame.
I've got all the riches baby one man can claim.
I guess you'd say
What can make me feel this way?
My girl (my girl, my girl)
Talkin' 'bout my girl (my girl).

I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
with my girl.
I've even got the month of May
with my girl.

Any Wife to Any Husband
        I.

My love, this is the bitterest, that thou---
Who art all truth, and who dost love me now
As thine eyes say, as thy voice breaks to say---
Shouldst love so truly, and couldst love me still
A whole long life through, had but love its will,
Would death that leads me from thee brook delay.

        II.

I have but to be by thee, and thy hand
Will never let mine go, nor heart withstand
The beating of my heart to reach its place.
When shall I look for thee and feel thee gone?
When cry for the old comfort and find none?
Never, I know! Thy soul is in thy face.

        III.

Oh, I should fade---'tis willed so! Might I save,
Gladly I would, whatever beauty gave
Joy to thy sense, for that was precious too.
It is not to be granted. But the soul
Whence the love comes, all ravage leaves that whole;
Vainly the flesh fades; soul makes all things new.

        IV.

It would not be because my eye grew dim
Thou couldst not find the love there, thanks to Him
Who never is dishonoured in the spark
He gave us from his fire of fires, and bade
Remember whence it sprang, nor be afraid
While that burns on, though all the rest grow dark.

        V.

So, how thou wouldst be perfect, white and clean
Outside as inside, soul and soul's demesne
Alike, this body given to show it by!
Oh, three-parts through the worst of life's abyss,
What plaudits from the next world after this,
Couldst thou repeat a stroke and gain the sky!

        VI.

And is it not the bitterer to think
That, disengage our hands and thou wilt sink
Although thy love was love in very deed?
I know that nature! Pass a festive day,
Thou dost not throw its relic-flower away
Nor bid its music's loitering echo speed.

        VII.

Thou let'st the stranger's glove lie where it fell;
If old things remain old things all is well,
For thou art grateful as becomes man best
And hadst thou only heard me play one tune,
Or viewed me from a window, not so soon
With thee would such things fade as with the rest.

        VIII.

I seem to see! We meet and part; 'tis brief;
The book I opened keeps a folded leaf,
The very chair I sat on, breaks the rank
That is a portrait of me on the wall---
Three lines, my face comes at so slight a call:
And for all this, one little hour to thank!

        IX.

But now, because the hour through years was fixed,
Because our inmost beings met and mixed,
Because thou once hast loved me---wilt thou dare
Say to thy soul and Who may list beside,
``Therefore she is immortally my bride;
``Chance cannot change my love, nor time impair.

        X.

``So, what if in the dusk of life that's left,
``I, a tired traveller of my sun bereft,
Look from my path when, mimicking  the same,
``The fire-fly glimpses past me, come and gone?
``---Where was it till the sunset? where anon
``It will be at the sunrise! What's to blame?''

        XI.

Is it so helpful to thee? Canst thou take
The mimic up, nor, for the true thing's sake,
Put gently by such efforts at a beam?
Is the remainder of the way so long,
Thou need'st the little solace, thou the strong
Watch out thy watch, let weak ones doze and dream!

        XII.

---Ah, but the fresher faces! ``Is it true,''
Thou'lt ask, ``some eyes are beautiful and new?
``Some hair,---how can one choose but grasp such wealth?
``And if a man would press his lips to lips
``Fresh as the wilding hedge-rose-cup there slips
``The dew-drop out of, must it be by stealth?

        XIII.

``It cannot change the love still kept for Her,
``More than if such a picture I prefer
  ``Passing a day with, to a room's bare side:
The painted form takes nothing she possessed,
Yet, while the Titian's Venus lies at rest,
A man looks. Once more, what is there to chide?''

        XIV.

So must I see, from where I sit and watch,
My own self sell myself, my hand attach
Its warrant to the very thefts from me---
Thy singleness of soul that made me proud,
Thy purity of heart I loved aloud,
Thy man's-truth I was bold to bid God see!

        XV.

Love so, then, if thou wilt! Give all thou canst
Away to the new faces---disentranced,
(Say it and think it) obdurate no more:
Re-issue looks and words from the old mint,
Pass them afresh, no matter whose the print
Image and superscription once they bore

        XVI.

Re-coin thyself and give it them to spend,---
It all comes to the same thing at the end,
Since mine thou wast, mine art and mine shalt be,
Faithful or faithless, scaling up the sum
Or lavish of my treasure, thou must come
Back to the heart's place here I keep for thee!

        XVII.

Only, why should it be with stain at all?
Why must I, 'twixt the leaves of coronal,
Put any kiss of pardon on thy brow?
Why need the other women know so much,
And talk together, ``Such the look and such
``The smile he used to love with, then as now!''

        XVIII.

Might I die last and show thee! Should I find
Such hardship in the few years left behind,
If free to take and light my lamp, and go
Into thy tomb, and shut the door and sit,
Seeing thy face on those four sides of it
The better that they are so blank, I know!

        XIX.

Why, time was what I wanted, to turn o'er
Within my mind each look, get more and more
  By heart each word, too much to learn at first;
And join thee all the fitter for the pause
'Neath the low doorway's lintel. That were cause
For lingering, though thou calledst, if I durst!

        XX.

And yet thou art the nobler of us two
What dare I dream of, that thou canst not do,
Outstripping my ten small steps with one stride?
I'll say then, here's a trial and a task---
Is it to bear?---if easy, I'll not ask:
Though love fail, I can trust on in thy pride.

        XXI.

Pride?---when those eyes forestall the life behind
The death I have to go through!---when I find,
Now that I want thy help most, all of thee!
What did I fear? Thy love shall hold me fast
Until the little minute's sleep is past
And I wake saved.---And yet it will not be!

My Star

       All, that I know
          Of a certain star
        Is, it can throw
          (Like the angled spar)
        Now a dart of red,
          Now a dart of blue
        Till my friends have said
          They would fain see, too,
My star that dartles the red and the blue!
Then it stops like a bird; like a flower, hangs furled:
They must solace themselves with the Saturn above it.
What matter to me if their star is a world?
Mine has opened its soul to me; therefore I love it.

The Boy and the Angel

Morning, evening, noon and night,
``Praise God!; sang Theocrite.

Then to his poor trade he turned,
Whereby the daily meal was earned.

Hard he laboured, long and well;
O'er his work the boy's curls fell.

But ever, at each period,
He stopped and sang, ``Praise God!''

Then back again his curls he threw,
And cheerful turned to work anew.

Said Blaise, the listening monk, ``Well done;
``I doubt not thou art heard, my son:

``As well as if thy voice to-day
``Were praising God, the Pope's great way.

``This Easter Day, the Pope at Rome
``Praises God from Peter's dome.''

Said Theocrite, ``Would God that I
``Might praise him, that great way, and die!''

Night passed, day shone,
And Theocrite was gone.

With God a day endures alway,
A thousand years are but a day.

God said in heaven, ``Nor day nor night
``Now brings the voice of my delight.''

Then Gabriel, like a rainbow's birth,
Spread his wings and sank to earth;

Entered, in flesh, the empty cell,
Lived there, and played the craftsman well;

And morning, evening, noon and night,
Praised God in place of Theocrite.

And from a boy, to youth he grew:
The man put off the stripling's hue:

The man matured and fell away
Into the season of decay:

And ever o'er the trade he bent,
And ever lived on earth content.

(He did God's will; to him, all one
If on the earth or in the sun.)

God said, ``A praise is in mine ear;
``There is no doubt in it, no fear:

``So sing old worlds, and so
``New worlds that from my footstool go.

``Clearer loves sound other ways:
``I miss my little human praise.''

Then forth sprang Gabriel's wings, off fell
The flesh disguise, remained the cell.

'Twas Easter Day: he flew to Rome,
And paused above Saint Peter's dome.

In the tiring-room close by
The great outer gallery,

With his holy vestments dight,
Stood the new Pope, Theocrite:

And all his past career
Came back upon him clear,

Since when, a boy, he plied his trade,
Till on his life the sickness weighed;

And in his cell, when death drew near,
An angel in a dream brought cheer:

And rising from the sickness drear
He grew a priest, and now stood here.

To the East with praise he turned,
And on his sight the angel burned.

``I bore thee from thy craftsman's cell
``And set thee here; I did not well.

``Vainly I left my angel-sphere,
``Vain was thy dream of many a year.

``Thy voice's praise seemed weak; it dropped---
``Creation's chorus stopped!

``Go back and praise again
``The early way, while I remain.

``With that weak voice of our disdain,
``Take up creation's pausing strain.

``Back to the cell and poor employ:
``Resume the craftsman and the boy!''

Theocrite grew old at home;
A new Pope dwelt in Peter's dome.

One vanished as the other died:
They sought God side by side.

Life in Love

Escape me?
Never---
Beloved!
While I am I, and you are you,
So long as the world contains us both,
Me the loving and you the loth
While the one eludes, must the other pursue.
My life is a fault at last, I fear:
It seems too much like a fate, indeed!
Though I do my best I shall scarce succeed.
But what if I fail of my purpose here?
It is but to keep the nerves at strain,
To dry one's eyes and laugh at a fall,
And, baffled, get up and begin again,---
So the chace takes up one's life ' that's all.
While, look but once from your farthest bound
At me so deep in the dust and dark,
No sooner the old hope goes to ground
Than a new one, straight to the self-same mark,
I shape me---
Ever
Removed!

4 days & countin' babe  :icon_dance:

I say I am in love with you
And you say you have heard it before
I say I am sorry, it wasn't me
I can only say what I have Love and nothing more
Oh baby, do not waste your life
Oh baby I have nothing to hide
from the day One, I have been the number one
Only in love with you
Now I wait, and wait for ever
for an answer from you!
would you ever love me, the way I love you?

I thought love was all a concept
a losers dream, a poets words, an artist's paint
I thought It was unreal, a dream so faint
But what is it with you, are you real
are you for true, just like you
giving me glimpses, of something new
something special, something ordinary
something simple like the rainbow on the dew
in the morning when I sptep out
Then I feel like stepping back
into by bed to dream, to dream of you

I am not sad, that we had differences
like the children who dream of prince and princesses
I am a man, give me a break
Let's talk sraight, I ain't fake
i admid I've made mistakes
living in dreamland, is so easy
where the world shakes the way you want
but it is only your world that you break
What is the difference
If I live or I am dead
as long as I am true. True to you!!
Babe I love you.

4 days & countin' babe  :icon_dance:

I say I am in love with you
And you say you have heard it before
I say I am sorry, it wasn't me
I can only say what I have Love and nothing more
Oh baby, do not waste your life
Oh baby I have nothing to hide
from the day One, I have been the number one
Only in love with you
Now I wait, and wait for ever
for an answer from you!
would you ever love me, the way I love you?

I thought love was all a concept
a losers dream, a poets words, an artist's paint
I thought It was unreal, a dream so faint
But what is it with you, are you real
are you for true, just like you
giving me glimpses, of something new
something special, something ordinary
something simple like the rainbow on the dew
in the morning when I sptep out
Then I feel like stepping back
into by bed to dream, to dream of you

I am not sad, that we had differences
like the children who dream of prince and princesses
I am a man, give me a break
Let's talk sraight, I ain't fake
i admid I've made mistakes
living in dreamland, is so easy

When I Heard The
Learn'd Astronomer

When I heard the learn'd astronomer,
When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me,
When I was shown the charts and diagrams, to add, divide, and measure them,
When I sitting heard the astronomer where he lectured
with much applause in the lecture-room,

How soon unaccountable I became tired and sick,
Till rising and gliding out I wander'd off by myself,
In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,
Look'd up in perfect silence at the stars.

Walt Whitman

*****************************************************************

I Hear America Singing

I hear America singing, the varied carols I hear,
Those of mechanics, each one singing his as it should be blithe
and strong,
The carpenter singing his as he measures his plank or beam,
The mason singing his as he makes ready for work, or leaves off work,
The boatman singing what belongs to him in his boat, the deck hand
singing on the steamboat deck,
The shoemaker singing as he sits on his bench, the hatter singing as
he stands,
The woodcutter's song, the ploughboy's on his way in the morning,
or at noon intermission or at sundown,
The delicious singing of the mother, or of the young wife at work,
or of the girl sewing or washing,
Each singing what belongs to him or her and to none else,
The day what belongs to the day-at night the party of young
fellows, robust, friendly,
Singing with open mouths their strong melodious songs.

Walt Whitman

Houses and rooms are full of perfumes, the shelves are crowded with perfumes, (from Song of Myself)

Houses and rooms are full of perfumes, the shelves are crowded with perfumes,
I breathe the fragrance myself and know it and like it,
The distillation would intoxicate me also, but I shall not let it.

The atmosphere is not a perfume, it has no taste of the distillation, it is odorless,
It is for my mouth forever, I am in love with it,
I will go to the bank by the wood and become undisguised and naked,
I am mad for it to be in contact with me.

The smoke of my own breath,
Echoes, ripples, buzzed whispers, love root, silk thread, crotch and vine,
My respiration and inspiration, the beating of my heart, the passing of blood and air through my lungs,
The sniff of green leaves and dry leaves, and of the shore and dark-colored sea rocks, and of hay in the barn,
The sound of the belched words of my voice loosed to the eddies of the wind,
A few light kisses, a few embraces, a reaching around of arms,
The play of shine and shade on the trees as the supple boughs wag,
The delight alone or in the rush of the streets, or along the fields and hillsides,
The feeling of health, the full-noon trill, the song of me rising from bed and meeting the sun.

Have you reckoned a thousand acres much? have you reckoned the earth much?
Have you practiced so long to learn to read?
Have you felt so proud to get at the meaning of poems?

Stop this day and night with me and you shall possess the origin of all poems,
You shall posses the good of the earth and sun (there are millions of suns left),
You shall no longer take things at second or third hand, nor look through the eyes of the dead, nor feed on the specters in books,
You shall not look through my eyes either, nor take things from me,
You shall listen to all sides and filter them from yourself

Walt Whitman

I believe in you my soul, the other I am must not abase itself to you, (from Song of Myself)

I believe in you my soul, the other I am must not abase itself to you,
And you must not be abased to the other.
Loaf with me on the grass, loose the stop from your throat,
Not words, not music or rhyme I want, not custom or lecture, not even the best,
Only the lull I like, the hum of your valved voice.
I mind how once we lay such a transparent summer morning,
How you settled your head athwart my hips, and gently turned over upon me,
And parted the shirt from my bosom bone, and plunged your tongue to my bare-stripped heart,
And reached till you felt my beard, and reached till you held my feet.
Swiftly arose and spread around me the peace and knowledge that pass all the argument of the earth,
And I know that the hand of God is the promise of my own,
And I know that the spirit of God is the brother of my own,
And that all the men ever born are also my brothers, and the women my sisters and lovers,
And that a kelson of the creation is love,
And limitless are leaves stiff or drooping in the fields,
And brown ants in the little wells beneath them,
And mossy scabs of the worm fence, heaped stones, elder, mullein and pokeweed.

You

All I see is you and me,
   the soaring of my heart.

And, when my mind's thoughts roam free,
   I pray we'll never part.

A love as pure as winter snow.
   My feelings for you; celestial.

The warmth of touch, a smile that glows,
on Earth I've found an angel.

Ripples of pleasure when we kiss,
   your presence brings me ecstasy,

All I dream of are your lips,
all I see is you and me.

I miss U already

So happy I was sitting there with you,
       I felt so connected,
       I felt so content.
   Barely knowing you,
       I miss your smile,
as I lay here and wish you were near.
Every word you spoke was a blessing to my ears,
every smile of yours made me feel like an angel.
   Well now that you've gone,
       my heavens disappeared,
and I lay lost, feeling insecure.
And when you ran your fingers across my arm,
       everything felt so right,
       everything just belonged.
We were meant for each other,
       someday you'll see.
And each minute I am without you,
another tear forms in my eye.
but I won't let myself cry,
   Cause while you were here,
while you held me so near,
I found my heaven and held it tight.
and my heaven was so happy with me.
   And for all my life,
my future didn't get much thought,
       but since you left,
       I imagine you there.
And I see you in my mind,
       our hands intertwined.
Together we took away each others fears.
       and I miss my heaven.
   I miss your soft touch,
and I only hope you're thinking of me,
As I lay here and decide,
       we were meant to be.

I <3 U princes :) :) :)

THE SLOTH

In moving-slow he has no Peer.
You ask him something in his Ear,
He thinks about it for a Year;

And, then, before he says a Word
There, upside down (unlike a Bird),
He will assume that you have Heard -

A most Ex-as-per-at-ing Lug.
But should you call his manner Smug,
Hell sigh and give his Branch a Hug;

Then off again to Sleep he goes,
Still swaying gently by his Toes,
And you just know he knows he knows.

Intimations of Mortality

on being told by the dentist that this will be over soon

Indeed, it will soon be over, I shall be done
With the querulous drill, the forceps, the clove-smelling cotton.
I can go forth into fresher air, into sun,
This narrow anguish forgotten.

In twenty minutes or forty or half an hour,
I shall be easy, and proud of my hard-got gold,
But your apple of comfort is eaten by worms, and sour.
Your consolation is cold.

This will not last, and the day will be pleasant after.
Ill dine tonight with a witty and favorite friend.
No doubt tomorrow I shall rinse my mouth with laughter.
And also that will end.

The handful of time that I am charily granted
Will likewise pass, to oblivion duly apprenticed.
Summer will blossom and autumn be faintly enchanted.
Then time for the grave, or the dentist.

Because you are shrewd, my man, and your hand is clever,
You must not believe your words have a charm to spell me.
There was never a half of an hour that lasted forever.
Be quiet. You need not tell me.

The Crystal Gazer

I shall gather myself into my self again,
I shall take my scattered selves and make them one.
I shall fuse them into a polished crystal ball
Where I can see the moon and the flashing sun.
I Shall sit like a sibyl, hour after hour intent.
Watching the future come and the present go -
And the little shifting pictures of people rushing
In tiny self-importance to and fro.

Sara Teasdale

Time does not bring relief

Time does not bring relief; you all have lied
Who told me time would ease me of my pain!
I miss him in the weeping of the rain;
I want him at the shrinking of the tide;
The old snows melt from every mountain-side,
And last year's leaves are smoke in every lane;
But last year's bitter loving must remain
Heaped on my heart, and my old thoughts abide.
There are a hundred places where I fear
To go - so with his memory they brim.
And entering with relief some quiet place
Where never fell his foot or shone his face
I say, 'There is no memory of him here!'
And so stand stricken, so remembering him.

Edna St Vincent Millay

Statement

It would not have been possible for me ever to trust someone who
acquired office by the shameful means Mr. Bush and his abettors resorted
to in the last presidential election. His nonentity was rapidly becoming
more apparent than ever when the catastrophe of Sept. 11, 2001, provided
him and his handlers with a role for him, that of "wartime leader",
which they, and he in turn, were quick to exploit. This role was used at
once to silence all criticism of the man and his words as unpatriotic,
and to provide the auspices for a sustained assault upon civil
liberties, environmental protections, and general welfare. The
perpetuation of this role of "wartime leader" is the primary reason--
more important even than the greed for oil fields and the wish to blot
out his father's failure-- for the present determination to visit war
upon Iraq, kill and maim countless people, and antagonize much of the
world of which Mr. Bush had not heard until recently. The real
iniquities of Saddam Hussein should be recognized, in this context, as
the pretexts they are. His earlier atrocities went unmentioned as long
as he was an ally of former Republican administrations, which were
happy, in their time, to supply him with weapons. I think that someone
who was maneuvered into office against the will of the electorate, as
Mr. Bush was, should be allowed to make no governmental decisions
(including judicial appointments) that might outlast his questionable
term, and if the reasons for war were many times greater than they have
been said to be I would oppose any thing of the kind under such
"leadership". To arrange a war in order to be re-elected outdoes even
the means employed in the last presidential election. Mr. Bush and his
plans are a greater danger to the United States than Saddam Hussein.

Funeral Blues

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West.
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

I love U

I love you more than you can imagine
When I see your face it brighten up my day
I love you more than words can ever tell
Even more than what im about to say

I don't remember the last time i felt like this
You make me feel the real me
You don't know how happy it makes me
When I can share things with you, comfortably

I love the way you smile
I love the way you make me laugh
And you give me hope....
When things get a little sad

All of your hugs makes me feel free
From all the drama and trouble that life brings my way
If i would have 1 wish and one wish only
I wish for this love to be here to stay.

I belive in us

I Believe In Us
by Jeff Zee
I know that I don't always say the right things
If I could I'd lift you up on angel's wings
You deserve every shred of joy you recieve
Everytime I look in your eyes I always believe
That everything is going to be fine
As long as I keep walking this line
I don't fear the future as long as it's with you
Holding your hand I will always pull through

This feeling inside is hard to describe
I want to be there when you need me
Emotions like this are not free
Sometimes it's like I don't have a clue
But in this moment I promise to be true
I could never do anything to cause you pain
So right behind you I will always remain
If you stumble I want to be the one
To pick you back up and together we can run

Trust me when I say you are meant to be so much more
I'll be waiting when you walk through that door
Being apart from you just drives me insane
I love to just think about you and stand in the rain
Although I'm not one to cry
Just thinking about you brings a tear to my eye
When you need me just turn around
I'll hold you until you are strong
My love for you knows no bounds

how u make me feel

You are beautiful to me in more ways than you can see,
You are always on my mind,
it is obvious that you are the world to me.
From your amazing smile, to the sparkle in your eye,
I don't know how else to say it,
you make me want to be a better guy.
You can think that I am crazy,
and you can think that I am a fool,
But everytime that I am with you, I fall deeper and deeper in love with you.
Since the day I set eyes on you, your all that I have been thinking of,
Just take my hand, and I will give you everlasting love.
I do not know how to explain it, I feel I'm losing my mind,
But a girl as wonderful as you, is very hard to find.
You mean a lot to me, and you are special in your own way,
You make me feel good inside, and you light up my day.
In all past relationships all they did was give you pain and harm, but I promise you this,
as long as your with me,I will never do you wrong.
There is nothing more than I would rather do,
than taking the time, and spending it with you.
You make me laugh, and you make me smile, on you God went the extra mile.
There is something special about you that sets you apart,
and when I laid eyes on you, you captured my heart.
I have prayed to God to bring me someone like you,
And once you came into my life, I knew that my wish had come true.
I am in love with you, and you are always on my mind,
I want to say I love you, and I want you forever by my side.

Wish

My eyes are my soul, and my feelings too
And they burned bright, when they set upon you
My stomach sunk, and my heart rose
Why you?re so perfect, God only knows
Your beautiful brown eyes and breathtaking brown hair
Captivated my gaze, so long as I stare
When your smile forms from ear to ear
My heart pumps faster and my death is near
But a muscle must work harder to keep up the pace
As my tongue works harder to keep up your taste
When your lips decide to part, my reality it steals
Inevitable to the end, just like strawberry fields
I want nothing more than to hold you close
And tell you how I love you the most
Whisper poems in your ear
And remind you that you have nothing to fear
If given a wish, my wish would say.

I love U princes :) :) :)

Journey Into The Interior

In the long journey out of the self,
There are many detours, washed-out interrupted raw places
Where the shale slides dangerously
And the back wheels hang almost over the edge
At the sudden veering, the moment of turning.
Better to hug close, wary of rubble and falling stones.
The arroyo cracking the road, the wind-bitten buttes, the canyons,
Creeks swollen in midsummer from the flash-flood roaring into the narrow valley.
Reeds beaten flat by wind and rain,
Grey from the long winter, burnt at the base in late summer.
-- Or the path narrowing,
Winding upward toward the stream with its sharp stones,
The upland of alder and birchtrees,
Through the swamp alive with quicksand,
The way blocked at last by a fallen fir-tree,
The thickets darkening,
The ravines ugly.

Theodore Roethke

The Survivor

I am twenty-four
led to slaughter
I survived.

The following are empty synonyms:
man and beast
love and hate
friend and foe
darkness and light.

The way of killing men and beasts is the same
I've seen it:
truckfuls of chopped-up men
who will not be saved.

Ideas are mere words:
virtue and crime
truth and lies
beauty and ugliness
courage and cowardice.

Virtue and crime weigh the same
I've seen it:
in a man who was both
criminal and virtuous.

I seek a teacher and a master
may he restore my sight hearing and speech
may he again name objects and ideas
may he separate darkness from light.

I am twenty-four
led to slaughter
I survived.

Theodore Roethke

Pickle Belt

The fruit rolled by all day.
They prayed the cogs would creep;
They thought about Saturday pay,
And Sunday sleep.

Whatever he smelled was good:
The fruit and flesh smells mixed.
There beside him she stood,--
And he, perplexed;

He, in his shrunken britches,
Eyes rimmed with pickle dust,
Prickling with all the itches
Of sixteen-year-old lust.

Theodore Roethke

Dolor

I have known the inexorable sadness of pencils,
Neat in their boxes, dolor of pad and paper weight,
All the misery of manilla folders and mucilage,
Desolation in immaculate public places,
Lonely reception room, lavatory, switchboard,
The unalterable pathos of basin and pitcher,
Ritual of multigraph, paper-clip, comma,
Endless duplication of lives and objects.
And I have seen dust from the walls of institutions,
Finer than flour, alive, more dangerous than silica,
Sift, almost invisible, through long afternoons of tedium,
Dropping a fine film on nails and delicate eyebrows,
Glazing the pale hair, the duplicate grey standard faces.

Theodore Roethke

I Knew A Woman

I knew a woman, lovely in her bones,
When small birds sighed, she would sigh back at them;
Ah, when she moved, she moved more ways than one:
The shapes a bright container can contain!
Of her choice virtues only gods should speak,
Or English poets who grew up on Greek
(I'd have them sing in chorus, cheek to cheek.)

How well her wishes went! She stroked my chin,
She taught me Turn, and Counter-turn, and stand;
She taught me Touch, that undulant white skin:
I nibbled meekly from her proffered hand;
She was the sickle; I, poor I, the rake,
Coming behind her for her pretty sake
(But what prodigious mowing did we make.)

Love likes a gander, and adores a goose:
Her full lips pursed, the errant note to seize;
She played it quick, she played it light and loose;
My eyes, they dazzled at her flowing knees;
Her several parts could keep a pure repose,
Or one hip quiver with a mobile nose
(She moved in circles, and those circles moved.)

Let seed be grass, and grass turn into hay:
I'm martyr to a motion not my own;
What's freedom for? To know eternity.
I swear she cast a shadow white as stone.
But who would count eternity in days?
These old bones live to learn her wanton ways:
(I measure time by how a body sways.)

I Luv U

I Love You
by Tina Versetto
I Love You
I Love everything about you-
Your sexy smile, The sound of your voice,
The magic in your eyes.
I Love dreaming about you.
I Love discovering you
And letting go with you.
I Love each and every
once-in-a-lifetime moment
I share with you...
...Today, Tomorrow, Forever.

Together

That very first night we talked on the phone,
I never knew then I'd never be alone.
You're always with me even when we're apart,
Because you take up so much room inside my heart.
You look past all my flaws as if they were not there,
You've helped me through so much because you truly care,
When I start to wonder what fate has in store for me,
I look into your eyes, where the future I can see.
Even as we grow old, one thing will remain the same,
All the love we share will still burn a passionate flame.
We've had our ups and downs, yet our love proves strong,
As long as we have each other, nothing can go wrong.
When I close my eyes, I see your loving face,
And when I go to sleep, I dream of your embrace.
When things look bad and life goes astray,
You always know just what to say.
When we pull each other close and hold each other tight,
You tell me that you love me and make everything all right.

Until you

I never liked the beach
Until I walked on it with you
I never liked the sand
Well, I guess I never knew

Maybe it was the waves
The way they splashed that night
To you I know, it was quite dark
But for my, your eyes provided light

You laughed, you smiled, you were so happy
And because of that, I was too
I never liked the beach
Until I walked on it with you

I know our time has passed
I know that things will go on
I guess I just want you to know
You have made my life so much fun

You can make me feel at best
Even when I'm blue
I never really loved life
Until I started loving you.

I <3 U princes :) :) :)

Always for the first time

Always for the first time
Hardly do I know you by sight
You return at some hour of the night to a house at an angle to my window
A wholly imaginary house
It is there that from one second to the next
In the inviolate darkness
I anticipate once more the fascinating rift occuring
The one and only rift
In the facade and in my heart
The closer I come to you
In reality
The more the key sings at the door of the unknown room
Where you appear alone before me
At first you coalesce entierly with the brightness
The elusive angle of a curtain
It's a field of jasmine I gazed upon at dawn on a road in the vicinity of Grasse
With the diagonal slant of its girls picking
Behind them the dark falling wing of the plants stripped bare
Before them a T-square of dazzling light
The curtain invisibly raised
In a frenzy all the flowers swarm back in
It is you at grips with that too long hour never dim enough until sleep
You as though you could be
The same except that I shall perhaps never meet you
You pretend not to know I am watching you
Marvelously I am no longer sure you know
You idleness brings tears to my eyes
A swarm of interpretations surrounds each of your gestures
It's a honeydew hunt
There are rocking chairs on a deck there are branches that may well scratch you in the forest
There are in a shop window in the rue Notre-Dame-de-Lorette
Two lovely crossed legs caught in long stockings
Flaring out in the center of a great white clover
There is a silken ladder rolled out over the ivy
There is
By my leaning over the precipice
Of your presence and your absense in hopeless fusion
My finding the secret
Of loving you
Always for the first time

Andre Breton

somewhere i have never travelled

somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
or which i cannot touch because they are too near

your slightest look easily will unclose me
though i have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Spring opens
(touching skilfully, mysteriously) her first rose

or if your wish be to close me, i and
my life will shut very beautifully, suddenly,
as when the heart of this flower imagines
the snow carefully everywhere descending;

nothing which we are to perceive in this world equals
the power of your intense fragility: whose texture
compels me with the colour of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing

(i do not know what it is about you that closes
and opens; only something in me understands
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses)
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands

e. e. cummings

Big Heart

Big heart,
wide as a watermelon,
but wise as birth,
there is so much abundance
in the people I have:
Max, Lois, Joe, Louise,
Joan, Marie, Dawn,
Arlene, Father Dunne,
and all in their short lives
give to me repeatedly,
in the way the sea
places its many fingers on the shore,
again and again
and they know me,
they help me unravel,
they listen with ears made of conch shells,
they speak back with the wine of the best region.
They are my staff.
They comfort me.

They hear how
the artery of my soul has been severed
and soul is spurting out upon them,
bleeding on them,
messing up their clothes,
dirtying their shoes.
And God is filling me,
though there are times of doubt
as hollow as the Grand Canyon,
still God is filling me.
He is giving me the thoughts of dogs,
the spider in its intricate web,
the sun
in all its amazement,
and a slain ram
that is the glory,
the mystery of great cost,
and my heart,
which is very big,
I promise it is very large,
a monster of sorts,
takes it all in--
all in comes the fury of love.

Our First Kiss

A physical manifestation
of the passion
conjured through words written by, hopeful, disconnected lovers
meeting to confirm the reality of repressed feelings and desires. An urgent, yet brief, expression
of decadent sensations
meant to reveal the validity of desires
communicated but not experienced.

A Pandora's box of intimate secrets
tasted with eager mouths
devoured with reckless abandon
and hinting of the indescribable power contained within.

No other kiss will ever be like it, as the next will feed off the first and become something new and infinitely more powerful, continuing with ever increasing need until the ultimate expression of this emerging ecstasy is experienced, transforming the latent desire into a separate entity of two people merged in a lovers naked embrace.

Love in the Making

You touch my hand and my body goes weak
With sweet, gentle motion, your kiss meets my cheek
Your lips search for mine, so soft and so light
And flames of desire burst forth and ignite

Your arms wrap around me, you pull me so tight
My wanting and need, I can no longer fight
My body now quivering with each move you make
With thirst for fullfillment, I tremble and shake

So gentle you are, as I bear you my soul
To have you completely is my burning goal
Like poetry in motion, we search and explore
With desire still building, our passions both soar

With rythm so perfect, each kiss a delight
Our love in the making is a beautiful sight
Our passionate frenzy climbs higher still
As we give up our all, with this need to fullfill

Hearts beating faster, no mountain's too high
With fires now blazing, we soon touch the sky
Our two souls entwining as we melt into one
And euphoric elation has finally began

Wondrous explosions bring moans of pure joy
Satisfaction's unbounded as we wind down our play
Sweet words of, "I love you", you breathe in my ear
Our love in the making, so true and sincere.

You Are

You are the one who warms my heart
and fills my soul
You are the love of my life,
the one who makes me whole.
You are the man of my dreams,
all that I desire
You are a sweet fantasy
that sets my heart afire.
You are the one who completes me,
one sent from above
You are my one and only
you are... my eternal love

To the Man of my Dreams

To see your face in 3-D
Was be oh so heavenly

To have our eyes finally meet
Was such a divine treat

To feel your touch in the flesh
Was simply the best

To have your arms around me
Was true ecstasy

To share a passionate kiss
Was a dream come true.

To make love
Was absolute...BLISS

Song Lyrics for You Are

You bring each day happiness and sunshine
With a very bright sparkling ray.
This are memories that they are tucked inside my heart
And that is where they'll always will stay.
This is special bond of a real true love
That exists between you and me,
You are the blossom of my flesh
You are the music of my soul
You are my passion my desire that I adore,
Just remember that I will always love you.
Whether is near or far,
I will always truly be there,
Cause my spirit will carry you holding you near...
Just keep this thoughts with you
Within your golden heart,
A place so strong, so very deep and so faithful and true,
You're the beating of my heart
And the very strength within my soul,
You're the only real true love,
And you're the hope and the magic that will never die,
You are the answer to all my prayers,
For you are the perfect man of my dreams,
That came out being true,
Cause all of my heart beats, is because of you.

My New Love

Where do I begin?
My heart is aflame from passion
As I fall more in love with you.
The sun doesn't compare to the heat
That burns in my heart as I think of you.
I have fallen deeply in love with you.
Unconditional, Neverending.
How can a love like ours come to be?
Two strangers who meet by chance,
Who share secrets, hope, dreams, and desire.
We both have been hurt by love before.
We have cried many a tear.
Felt the pain and sorrow of a broken heart.
Afraid to ever love again.
But a spark began in our hearts
As we talked and listened to each other.
A spark that grew into a flame.
A flame that grew into a fire.
A fire that grew into Love.
I seal my love to you with a kiss.
I look to the future.
Forget the past.
The future lies with you each and everyday,
As I fall more deeply in love with you.

I Only Want to be with You  ;)

I Only Want To Be With You
I don't know what it is that makes me love you so
I only know I never want to let you go
'Cause you've started something, oh, can't you see
That ever since we met, you've had a hold on me?
It happens to be true
I only want to be with you

The whole ballroom was dim, lit only by a number of scented candles. He walked towards her, a gentle smile lighting up her face that tugged at the corners of her lips in a delightful way, a smile that never failed to take his breath away. He smiled back at her.

His eyes, warm and liquid-chocolate, looked at her as if she was the loveliest woman alive, the sweetest one, the only woman in this planet, his own heaven-on-earth. And as the music began to play, he took her in his arms, and whisked her away in the magic of the song, the song that always reminded her of that fateful night.

It doesn't matter where you go or what you do
I want to spend each moment of the day with you
Oh, look what has happened with just one kiss
I never knew that I could be in love like this
It's crazy but it's true
I only want to be with you

*****

She'd never been to any dances in her life until now. She hadn't wanted to. She didn't want to be humiliated, embarrassed, laughed at or be spoken about in private, taunted by others. But, for some reason, this night was different. This night, she finally went to a dance.

Her nerves were shaking and she was scared. Wearing only a simple cocktail dress, she stayed in one spot. But of course, when one needed to pee, one had to pee. And she just had to. When she exited the rest room, a new song was playing.

That was when she saw him. That was when their eyes met and locked. He then strode towards her confidently. His eyes focused only upon her being. She couldn't help herself. She stared at him. She looked for signs of malice, but found none. Then he stopped in front of her. He gazed at her eyes as if he gazed at her soul. Then he asked quietly, "May I have this dance?"

You stopped and smiled at me
And asked if I'd care to dance
I fell into your open arms
I didn't stand a chance
Now, listen to me
I just want to be beside you everywhere
As long as we're together, honey, I don't care
'Cause you've started something, oh, can't you see
That ever since we met, you've had a hold on me?
No matter what you do,
I only want to be with you

She didn't know what to do. She had never danced with anyone before. She wanted to refuse him, to avoid making a scene, to avoid making the two of them a laughingstock. She wanted to shield herself from whatever heartache the consequence of dancing with a man in public would cause.

But the temptation to have her very first dance overrode all her fears and cautions. She felt her head jerk a nod for her voice suddenly seemed to have gone on a vacation. Then he took her in his arms, and through the whole night, he was with her, dancing, talking, smiling and laughing.

When the band finally started playing the last song, she became frightened once more. She wanted this night to last forever and for this guy, whose name she still didn't know, to be with her always.

Yet her mind warned her. Her heart dreaded the reason for such a sweet miracle to happen to her. He was smiling at her when she leaned back to ask her question.

"Why are you doing this? Dancing with me and spending the whole time with me? Why didn't you dance with the others?"

His smile faded. His eyes seared into hers solemnly and intently before he replied.

*****

I just want to be beside you everywhere
As long as we're together, honey, I don't care
'Cause you've started something, oh, can't you see?
That ever since we met, you've had a hold on me.
No matter what you do,
I only want to be with you

They swayed to the rhythm of the music. They whirled to the tune of the song. They held each other as if there was nothing else more important than keeping each other safe and cherished in one another's arms. The whole world disappeared. Nothing existed but only the two of them.

When she heard the crescendo of the music, she opened her eyes and got a glimpse of her wheelchair that stayed put on the corner where she was before he asked her to dance. She felt his right arm, strong and solid, supporting her back. His other arm tucked beneath the backs of her knees for he carried her every time they danced.

She clutched him more closely to her, pressing herself against his body. Then she looked at him and smiled before murmuring, "Do you remember?" He smiled back, sweet and tender. "Yes, I remember."

I said no matter, no matter what you do,
I only want to be with you

As if to test him, but truly just to hear him say it again to her, she repeated the question she asked him long ago, on the night they'd first danced to this beautiful song.

"Why are you doing this? Dancing with me and spending the whole time with me? Why didn't you dance with the others?"

He then leaned his forehead against hers, kissed her lips with the barest touch of his, soft yet heart stopping, and whispered in reply.

"Because I only want to be with you."

angel on a mountain trail

A journey of life
Along not simply a road,
But a narrow, precipitous mountain trail—
The path is steep:

I think I might fall.
An angel takes my hand and steadies me,
Sets me back on the trail.
You're always there

When I stumble, trip and fall.
You save me, my love,

My true love,

And I'll repay you someday for your help.
Look out for you

And catch you if you fall;
I'll help you—hold your hand

When the trail gets rough,

For you are my friend, and I am yours.

I'll be there for you,
And you'll be there for me—

lovers for always
As we walk along this mountain trail of life.

if I say I love U

If I say

I love you

Is that all I

Mean?  Do I

Only love you

Or is it much

Deeper than that?

Or does it end with

Simply "love," all

Feelings being wrapped

Up in that small word?

I know there is love

But what more is there?

What more is in that word

Inclusive?  Love I've already

Mentioned, but I see much

More than that, friendship, trust

Happiness, togetherness, passion,

Faith, hope, dreams, loyalty,

Patience, laughter and that

Indescribable felling that you

Can only feel and know and understand

—You know—

And is emotion all there is?

What about yahtzee, and feathers

And hopping feet?  What about

Stories and dreams and scenarios?

What about passionate love,

Love that exhilarates, excites and exuberates?

Love that inspires.

The kind of love that's an adventure,

Full of twists and turns and

Unexpected trails.  Trails which

Curious hikers and bears and spiders

Travel upon and around.

—You know what kind of love I'm talking about,

Dearest!

Of course you know- we are

One together through it all—

The fun parts of love and the hard parts.

Darling, just know that no matter what happens,

I'll always love you and be there for you—

Like you're there for me.  Only patience and waiting

Will bring that which we want most—

You know—

You, who is forever and always

In my heart.

Yes, we must wait, for alone time

And togetherness forever.

So know, dearest, that

When I say

I love you

It means more than

Simply that.

drunkenness

My mouth is numb, its just like novacaine.

And my words are blunted and crooked.

My thoughts, they don't connect;

Its like I'm playing connect the dots in my mind,

but not following the rules.

So the words, they spill all over the room,

Disconnected and sloppy.

And the room, it spins, just like the thoughts in my head,

And I reluctantly acknowledge my loss of control.

But the best part about it all, is that you held me,

While my head and the room spun around,

While I babbled senselessly,

While I had no control.

You simply held me. :) :) :)

I love U princes :) :) :) :icon_dance:

Her eyes

Her eyes are like the ocean;

Fathomless with unending depths.

Depths in which the soul

Could be glimpsed.

Her beautiful soul that is so loving,

So playful, so gentle, childlike and open.

A soul that is timelessly joined to mine—

They become one with each sunrise

At the opening of each new day, every day.

Soul mates we are eternally,

Life after life after life.

And soul mates we become again

Each day, each minute, every

Time her gaze meets mine.

With each glimpse into her eyes,

I peek into her soul, and each glimpse

She gets of my eyes, she also gets of my soul.

Our two souls joined but not all alike—

Differences bring us closer.

Each day we discover new things

About ourselves and about each other.

And our souls become even more intertwined,

And they will remain so, for eternity

Into her eyes I will gaze, looking at her soul.

Into her eyes I have gazed before,

Centuries ago, years ago, Once upon a time.

Into her eyes I will gaze in centuries to come,

In years to come, in times to come:  In lives to come.

Her eyes are hypnotic, but they've entranced me before.

Despite the many times they mesmerized me before,

I am still sensitive to their charm.

I still fall each time, each life.

Of this I am sure, for no matter

When it was or when it will be,

Her eyes will always catch me and

I will fall into their fathomless depths,

Deeper and deeper into love and her soul.

I <3 U princes.  your da girl I love. :) :) :) :icon_dance:

I Will Miss You

I will miss you
I will miss all of the good times that we had
I will miss going to bed
Thinking that
No one could ever hurt me
Because you were there
I will miss sitting on the couch
In the evening
Talking and laughing without caring about the time
I will miss you walking me home
That hug that made me confident
I will miss sitting down
Watching you talk to your mom and your friends on the phone
I will miss dancing with you
I will miss you holding me close
I will miss kissing your lips
I will miss you.

I miss U

Another dark night
Another dark day
Another salty tear
How I miss yesterday

I miss the times of joy
That you brought into my life
I miss the times of laughter
When you wanted to be my girl

I miss the times of pain
As you told me you were sad
I miss the times of suffering
As you attempted to make me happy

I miss those gentle kisses
That helped me sleep at night
I miss those warm touches
That took away all my fright

I miss those gentle massages
As you soothed all my aches
I miss how you were always you
Never making any mistakes

I miss how you would wake up
And run to the bathroom
Because you wanted to always be beautiful
Even-though you never had to

I miss how you would sleep at night
Gently breathing through your nose
I miss how when you had nightmares
You would squeeze onto my clothes

I miss how you would stare
So seriously in my eyes
I miss how you loved me
I miss you and I don't know why?

I miss saying I love you
Only because I could
I miss saying I miss you
Because I always would

I miss falling in love
As it proved to be true
I miss making love
for it was a dream come true.

do u remember?

Do you remember the day we first met?
Yes I remember and I have no regrets
Do you remember when we first held hands?
Yes I remember rolling with laughter on the sand
Do you remember our first date?
Yes I remember like it was yesterday, it was great

Do you remember when we first kissed?
Yes-I remember I was nervous but still took the risk

Do you remember when we first made love?
Yes I remember and the second time in the tub

Do you remember when you said "I Love You"?
Yes I remember, that's when I really knew I loved you

Do you remember when you said "yes"?
Yes I remember loving an angel, my dream came true

Do you remember, My Love?
YesI remember...

I miss u :(  & I <3 U :) :) :)

I miss you today

I try not to think about you, but
I miss you today
so many memories
so many communications
Who said
even a grain of sand
I treasured it
even sunrise and sunset
I could not forget them
these lively faces
how could I remove them from
my memories
I try not to think about your voice
I will miss talking to you
I try not to think about your smile
I will miss seeing you
I try not to think about our communications, but
I read the sadness again
I miss your thoughtfulness
I miss our perfect partnership
I only know that
at this moment
you miss me too,
and somehow our sadness
bond us together even more.
