Hi, I'm a newbie

Hi everybody,
I found this site last week and have been reading some posts and enjoying them. I'm not a transgender person, but my best friend of over 30 years is, and I've learned a lot about her life and the lives of some of her friends, too.

Right now I'm working with a pro-bono lawyer who is trying to give support to the ->-bleeped-<- community in São Paulo (I live in Rio de Janeiro) in terms of preventing abuse, legal issues, health problems, etc.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here!

And yes, Stephanie and I will be friends forever, there's no doubt about that! We met through music (she is a fabulous jazz singer and I'm a pianist) and that was the beginning of our bond.
