getting "she" while in guy mode

I don't really know where else to share this little personal triumph:

I was out hiking yesterday, and hence in guy mode (since I don't really know how to present specifically female in the mountains). I ran into a couple and was haging out with them for a bit.

Before he finally decided I was male, the guy used "she" to refer to me, twice, so there was no mistaking, even after the girl used "he." I didn't try to correct either of them.

I also didn't tell the guy he'd just made my day.  :D
All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.

Smiliar experiences.

Two years ago when I stayed in Helsinki, I entered men's room while wearing men's jacket and blue jean as it was a day for me to present my research in a conference. One man entered while I washed hands before the mirror. The Finnish man said something like apology and then went out to check the door sign. I just left there.

This kind of thing usually happens when I am alone in the bathroom.

Another thrilling moment was when a guy entered the bathroom at my workplace. I did not see his face, but later my senior colleague told me that he was a Congressman who usually audit our institute, and talked about me like "I thought it was a women's room, and went out hurryingly" and so on. At my workplace, I usually do not wear so obviously feminine clothes.

Probably, these kind of moments are not my personal triumph, because I did not intend to do it.

Mine is not so much a in your face kinda notice just cause I have to work really hard to present, it's gonna be natural for the two of you, you both have that inner beauty, but mine was on the phone, I have been working hard to develop my femine voice and have been ma'amed on just about every occasion on the phone :)
