Smiliar experiences.
Two years ago when I stayed in Helsinki, I entered men's room while wearing men's jacket and blue jean as it was a day for me to present my research in a conference. One man entered while I washed hands before the mirror. The Finnish man said something like apology and then went out to check the door sign. I just left there.
This kind of thing usually happens when I am alone in the bathroom.
Another thrilling moment was when a guy entered the bathroom at my workplace. I did not see his face, but later my senior colleague told me that he was a Congressman who usually audit our institute, and talked about me like "I thought it was a women's room, and went out hurryingly" and so on. At my workplace, I usually do not wear so obviously feminine clothes.
Probably, these kind of moments are not my personal triumph, because I did not intend to do it.
