If you saw a guy wearing this hairstyle.

What would you think?

(I ask because I like the hairstyle; my hair is getting longer, and I think it looks a bit masculine. My transition is farther down, and I am not willing to cut my hair)

It depends on the guy I suppose.  A smooth skinned young man could pull it off nicely, but combining it with a beard or mustache would not be good.

Maybe with some designer stubble. ;)

I like it very sexy. What colour are you thinking of? I would think he was emo or gay...

I thought that too, I just didnt say it.  But I think that Paulina already realizes that.

Yes, it really does depend.  It would look awesome on me, for example, or on this one kid named Drew who used to be in my health class, but not on someone with facial hair or "designer stubble."  But I seriously doubt that will be an issue here.

Well my hair is dark brown, so it might stay like that or medium brown. Thanks I wasn't sure if the look was really gay, but emo is ok. I may just let it grow long long.

Honestly, I don't presume to know anything about a person's personality based on their hair, nor clothes for that matter. The only thing that would spring to mind is that he is specific about how he wants his hair.

It's certainly a great style. If your hairdresser thinks it will fit your face well and you like it, I'd say go for it no matter what. I know a lot of TS folks worry about how feminine they should look before fully transitioning, but I think people will better adjust to the big change later if you've already created a more feminine image for yourself now. Quite a few males wear their hair in styles normally considered feminine in our society. If you ease your friends and family into it, later on, they might be more likely to just say to themselves "OK. I was ready for this".

Fairly sure I've seen that style on men before. Much better than a buzzed head or those cool multicolored spikes.

I would think he was gay or GID. Awesome style, though1

That's the excuse I always used, or people used for me, to try to pretend that I didn't want to be a woman and sleep with men.

Your gaydar needs tuning.
