Washington DC-Capital Trans Pride Convention

On June 6th, from 10am till 6:30 pm, there will be a transgender convention the Madison Hotel, as part of the Capital Pride celebrations (June 5th-June 14th, in case one event isn't enough!).

Maria Roman of Trantasia will be a celebrity host, and there will be a lot of resources and organizations present.  Admission is $10, but another $10 will sponsor someone who cannot afford admittance on their own.  Here's the link for more information:

Actually, we will drive to a Renn Faire at Lake Anna Winery that day and then on to a Trans gathering in Richmond on the 7th, but look for a USNA Out Tee shirt and a US Naval Academy Class of 60 ball cap at Capital Pride Celebration on Pennsylvania Avenue on Sunday the 13th.  My husband and I get to Capital Pride more often than Seattle Pride.

I'll keep an eye out for you!  I'm volunteering at both the parade on Saturday and the festival on Sunday, so look for the guy in the capital pride tshirt who looks like he's about to pass out from the heat
