Two days ago, we witnessed a veil of western American"Jim Crowism"
descend on the members of the California Supreme Court; ironically,
these members call themselves "justices." But rather than
administering justice, the "justices" of the California Supreme Court
committed an act of judicial violence against sexual minorities,
causing grave injury to their citizenship, and explicitly upholding a
set of "special rights" for heterosexuals.

We are a nation of laws. The courts uphold the laws. The laws can be changed by the legislators. CA has given that right to the voting public. Mob rule.
