Pune: A 34-year-old woman, who underwent a sex change operation to disguise her lesbian relationship, is now struggling to find her lost identity after being deserted by her 39-year-old lover.

That's the problem with confusing sexual orientation with gender identity. It also illustrates Harry Benjamin's whole point in introducing the Standards of Care. Iran is massively violating these principles.
