As summer is coming, I begin to exercise more to remove some fat accumated during the winter. Although I exercise even in winter, the frequency of exercise tends to decrease.

A few days ago, I noticed my girth size actually has increased.

Some people say to me that I do not need to worry about my girth size, but others notice that my girth size has increased compared with the last year. Aging is certainly a factor.

It is raining, but I am going to run to my house (about 7 km or 5  miles). Yesterday I ran 15 km or 10 miles.

I just arrived home after running 7 km (3 miles). It drizzled, and the air was very humid. After taking shower, I am now drinking a traditional rice wine here (6% alcohol) with dried sea food. It's 1:00 AM and I should get up at 7:00 AM to trip on business. I will wear formal dress for men, which sometimes I should do.

Well I certainly wouldn't say you need to worry, but we each have a better understanding of our bodies then anybody else  :icon_yes:. 10 miles is impressive, you go girl! :icon_tenisclap: I made it to 6.5 the other day and my legs almost gave out. I certainly couldn't do another 5 the next day. Its ok, though, I have to concentrate on my abs more anyway  :icon_wink:.

Aerobic exercises, such as running and biking, begin to burn fat accumulated in our body in 30 minutues. Thus, I have to run at least 30 minutes, usually 40 minutes. To burn with oxygen more effectively, I sometimes run for 2 hours, and it indeed dramatically decreases my girth size after just 2 days.

But, yesterday night, after finishing a business meeting, I ate grilled pork with a lot of beer. As I exercise more, my appetite also increases proportionally, but anyway, my girth size decreases.

Vanessa,

If you can run 2-3 miles or 3-5 km, then you can increase the distance very easily step by step.

Just ago today night, I ran about 22 km, which is closer to a half-course marathon. It took about 2 hours. I once completed a full-course marathon.

Your body shape tells me that you will be a good runner. And, why... so short hair?

I am always trying to push myself when running. Unfortunately though, I hadn't started to run until a couple of years ago   :eusa_shifty:. Have to say though, I feel a lot better when I run, I don't know why I never did it sooner!  ::)

Aw, the short hair! I much prefer long hair (I am kind of a girly girl after all!), but it is part of my overall plan of transitioning. I could go into the full length of my plan if you want, but it is long and it is getting late here. I have to get some beauty sleep!  :P

P.S. thanks for the tips!

For diet, running fast is not recommended. Burning fat requires enough oxygen supplied to your body. So, slow running is more effective for aerobic exercise.

Need to start running myself. Slow running does burn more fat.

It's saturday, and I ran about 15 kim. I ran more than 15 kim for 3 consecutive days. When I ran along the beach, I could enjoy attention of people there. Some young guys smiled at me.
