Nope, not me.

I find such an attitude self-defeating.
It just makes you angry.

(It may work for you, though.)

Suppose you do screw them all, what then? Nothing changes. It's kinda vicious circle like that. Focus on getting what you want, which you can do anyway without the aforementioned screwing. The others will take care of themselves.  :)

I don't take it to mean "screw them" as in "get them" or "pay them back"

i certainly wouldn't agree with it if that were the meaning

I took it as "forget them" or "disregard them"

In that context, I wholeheartedly agree. Outside the three people who share my home, my take is "you are entitled to your opinion, you are not entitled to inflict it upon me" - in other words, if you dislike or disapprove of me...oh well.

Disclaimer: due to serious injury, most of my posts are made via Dragon Dictation which sometimes butchers grammar and mis-hears my words. I'm also too lazy to closely proof-read which means some of my comments will seem strange.

I took it more in the sense of being angry at "the world" or the PTB or whatever. Never did me any good at all, they simply don't care. But Laura is right about who cares what those people think that disapprove.

LOL My libido is wicked -- I read "screw 'em all" and my libido said, "that's not a bad idea; it could be a lot of fun."

Bad girl! Sorry for that. I couldn't help it!

Sorry yea I meant it the way Laura said (or maybe Gothique >:-) ) i dont want revenge or anything but i mean to say i wont give u the time of day if u disregard me or look down on me. I find my patience for educating the ignorant or suffering fools has run completely dry !! Ayways i gess its a way of surviving in a very negative situation and i only think this way wen everything goes wrong at once and i hav a really bad day. (like yesterday)

II have a little different view of the ignorant masses and try to live by it.  A friend once told me to "not let them rent space in your head".

When I started, I had the "Screw You" attitude, but that was hurting me.  I looked angry all the time.  Now I always look in the mirror and say "Good morning, Beautiful".  That brightens my day.  Now I use the "God! You would think that they have never seen a Goddess before" when I get people staring at me.

Bad girl, Gothique.  That will get you a reputation that you don't want.  >:-)  That is my goal after SRS........NOT.

To the degree that you say that with bitterness and hate it will kill you, but to the point that its a shorthand for "well, despite what you think I'm going ahead and doing what I believe in" then its pretty much the only way to live.

Hi, Claire,

If what you really meant by "screw 'em all" is as what is in Laura Hope's quote here, then, yep!  I'm with you all the way on that one.

By the way, I LOVE your avatar!  That we could all look like her and be that young!  Great, great choice!  Lucy's avatar on this page also knocks me out ... for the same reasons!

Don't let 'em get ya down, Hon.  Keep your head held up high.  Respect yourself, and their opinions won't matter in the end.  Good luck.

I like that.  ;)  Don't let others determine what you are.

Be nice to those around you.  If they don't return it, that is their problem not yours.
