Listen up ladies, I could use some help. Guys you can give your opinion too (don't be shy  ;))! I am shopping shoes online, and I've narrowed it down to two, but which one to get  ???. Very similar you might say, but they are a world apart for me! The links are below the pictures. Both sandals come in different colors too, so it would help to get some advice. Any ideas?

Uh, I dunno. Doesn't it make a difference what you're going to wear the shoes with?

However, I do prefer the silver to the taupe or whatever the top one is.

The silver one looks more "you," given your profile pic. I hope you aren't intending to walk in them!

They look 4-inch heels.
The bottom heels look more supportive because they have two staples holding the ankle.

I also took out two types of my summer sandals, but not yet wore them. They need to clean.

For me the second one, but what are you wearing it with?  I think a short dress or skirt, you seem to have long legs and that would really go with a short dress/skirt and heels.
You will also need to think about your toe nail polish depending on shoe colour. You want to match it.

Are you practised at walking in heels? I wear them often but the first time I walked down a street to a club the street terrain made walking a lot more difficult that around the house or in the club.

BTW buying shoes on line is fine, but I've never had a problem in shoe stores, and they may be cheaper. I'm a bit of a shoe collector , but show me a girl who isn't

Right, I'm going to go against the grain here.  I like the top one, but in a different color.  But then, I have a thing about symmetry.   The bottom one just really bugs me.   :icon_crazy:  That and it reminds me those horrible days when I was in middle school and that was pretty much the only style of shoe available for people with my size feet. (Too big for kids' shoes, too narrow for mens'.)  The eighties really sucked for me. Oh the agony!  :eusa_boohoo:

As Arch pointed out, though, it really depends upon what you plan to wear it with.  How about one of each in different colors?  ;)

I prefer the botom as well.

You have to be careful buying shoes like that, as the narrow straps can really dig in.  As CindyJames pointed out, going to a shoe store isnt really that big a deal, and trying them on could make a world of difference.

one difference I see is that the top pair has a buckle strap where the bottom pair doesn't. It depends on how you feel about shoe buckles but that would be one of the features I personally would consider. Nothing worse than loose sandals!

Dear girl. You need to use the femme part of your mind. Why, we just get them both! Then if that is not satisfactory we go to the shoe store and buy more. It is much better to go in person and try them on. The shoes will be great for going out but not for any marathon. Have some additional shoes for walking any long distance. Keep in mind we ladies can have a large purse with all kinds of good stuff including some flats for walking. Remember, you can never own too many pairs of shoes, earrings, cosmetics, etc.

I have 3 pairs of high heels that I have never tried outdoors. Two are 5-inch red and pinck 5-inch fancy high heel sandals, and the other is 5-inch pumps. What I have wron most freqently is always flat sandals. Unfortunately I lost one pair, and the other pair now becomes too *old*. I think shoes you can wear everyday would be more remembered later in you life.

Thanks for all the advice!  I usually do just go out in the store and get shoes but wanted to see what might be online. Ok, so I'll clarify what I plan on wearing with this shoe. Keep in mind that these shoes comes in different colors. I have a black flowy a-line skirt with a teal button up blouse I plan on wearing with one of these shoes. The top one is a 3 1/2 in heel and the bottom one is a 3 3/4 in heel. I don't plan on walking a marathon with these (ow!  :icon_yikes:).

To Genevieve, of course I would love to get both, but I do have to watch my budget. Can't buy everything I want  :icon_cry:. I do have plenty of flats I can use for the really long walking.

To CindyJames, yes I am practiced with walking in heels. I do go out in heels once in a while and get some good experience. I do agree that it is totally different than at home!

Ok, so let me know what you think now that you know what it's going with. Thanks again everyone, love you all!  :-*

Now I'm really out of my depth. No idea what an a-line skirt is. Sounds like a trolley system term. Just make a beeline for the a-line!!
