"I have always wanted to have a neighbor just like you,
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers

I am unsure, Hon, of the question?  Call me dumb, or blind, but I have been watching for a while and still I am unsure of the question.

No, it is I who is dumb.

I don't think you're dumb, heatherrose! :icon_no:  I think that everyone has their own personal ways of looking at things and explaining them, and just because your way of seeing it is unique, doesn't make it dumb. In fact, I think that's much better than just always spouting tired cliches (like I always do!)...

I think I'd see my physical self as more of a diving suit most of the time, for the functional reasons: it protects me from the elements, etc. But when I'm feeling down, I can relate to seeing my body as a puppet, because it feels like something separate from me, something "fake" and just for show.

Good analogy, it really made me think about the difference between the two. I like being challenged like that!  :D

EDIT: I'm so glad I started my response before you edited your post, or I wouldn't have known what this thread was about. (And don't be so hard on yourself! :icon_flower:)

I guess I look at it like a puppet but it is always and forever more I pulling the strings. I don't know if that definition differs much from diving suit but it keeps my personality from wanting to dis-integrate, which I consider a good thing.  :)

 ??? um, I think I'd rather have a puppet. I don't dive much.
