Yams and carrots grow in the ground, pineapples do grow in trees.  If your confused.  Which one would you not shove up your....  That's the one that grows in trees.

P.S.  Please wash the other first OK?  Cleanliness is next to godlessness after all.

Exactly what else grows in a grove except trees?  Cyprus Grove. Just for one example.

OK friends. The pineapple tree is more of a bush. I should clarify. The reference I was making was about some college kids dropping one from a 3rd story balcony and nearly hitting me with it. Sorry for the confusion.

There was a picture showing it wasn't a tree... but I guess it was too big... oh well.

Well I do have to agree with you there, I love the taste of the bloody things.  Though I also agree that they are evil.  I mean if you buy one at the grocery store, cut it's top off and then plant it... in about 2 years you can grow your own.... it's... scary

Given the last 8 years, I think we've all had enough bush, don't you think?

Maybe the poor saps who had to put up with him actually running their government, but for everyone else in the world he was at least wonderful comedic cannon fodder!  Can't really say anything so bad it's funny about Obama.... yet

Never been high, or to Hawaii.  Just because you call it a tree, doesn't really make it a tree.  Honestly it has to be taller than a normal human to really be a tree in my opinion

Yeah, but...  There is a difference between fruit (grows in the air) and Veggies (Grow in the ground), which of course makes Tomatoes a fruit, but still, Pineapples grow ABOVE the ground, not on it, or below it.  Hence, a fruit.

Well I never said it wasn't a fruit, simply that it didn't grow on trees, and hid in the tall grass mocking you.

Cucumbers and Zucchini grow above ground but I believe they are veggies

They grow ON the ground, which makes them Veggies.  Pineapple grows in trees, (really) so its a fruit.  It does not grow in the ground.

i think the only thing we have to fear are ridiculous arguments about whether a pineapple plant is a tree or not.

look at the word.

pine

apple

both trees.

there.  a pineapple grows on a tree.

obviously  >:-)  >:-)  >:-)

axshully the pineapple is a bromeliad, and if you have ever had one of those you would know it is a flower.

carry on...

Pineapple (Ananas comosus) is the common name for an edible tropical plant and also its fruit.[1] It is native to the southern part of Brazil, and Paraguay.[2] This herbaceous perennial plant grows to 1.0 to 1.5 metres (3.3 to 4.9 ft) tall with 30 or more trough-shaped and pointed leaves 30 to 100 centimetres (1.0 to 3.3 ft) long, surrounding a thick stem. The pineapple is an example of a multiple fruit: multiple, helically-arranged flowers along the axis each produce a fleshy fruit that becomes pressed against the fruits of adjacent flowers, forming what appears to be a single fleshy fruit. Pineapple is eaten fresh or canned and is available as a juice or in juice combinations. It is used in desserts, salads, as a complement to meat dishes and in fruit cocktail. While sweet, it is known for its high acid content (perhaps malic and/or citric[citation needed]). Pineapples are the only bromeliad fruit in widespread cultivation. It is one of the most commercially important plants which carry out CAM photosynthesis.
