I was just curious if there is any females that crossdress as males such as in men's underwear or such that visit this site.  Or is only males dressing as females. Just curious.

Probably the ones that do visit here are more androgyne or transsexual.

I know some FTMs do, but that's not technically crossdressing.

I guess there are none here. Or at least none that replied to this post.

is a different thing even - I suspect
women can dress in mens clothing and its acceptable - is only the other way there are "problems"

I have been a member of another support group and I have corresponded witha few female to male transsexuals that have gone completely through with their transition, so I do think that at some point that they were once cross-dressers.

Fetishism is almost non existent in women. According to "The encyclopedia of unusual sexual practices" Less than 1 percent of 1 percent of women find wearing male clothing sexually arousing.

And no kidding! Boxers, boxer-briefs, and men's clothing in general is damned comfortable to wear, but could hardly be considered sexy.

yeah i agree with that. Men's clothes aren't really 'sexy' persay. i could see males dressing up in female's clothes for sex becuase they're so tight and scampy sometimes where as guys clothes are jsut hella comfy ^^  :D

It depends, Tink. If you're a masculine looking woman, you do get funny looks if you wear men's clothes. Ultra-feminine women can get away with wearing almost anything, but if you look like you're actually blurring gender lines, people get very uncomfortable.

Yup... my wife steals my underwear all the time. She says they're often more comfortable. I agree, which is why I only tried panties a few times before deciding they were just too annoying.

Women will occasionally throw on her lover's dress shirt, watch, jewelry items, etc. and become aroused, but it's more from it reminding her of him (scent, etc.) than a fetish.

I have had this argument all my life, why is that women can dress like men and nothing is considered odd but when a man wishes to dress in the female role you are a sexual deviant? although men have been wearing skirts and dresses in other countries for many years, the US just needs to get over themselfs, and more real men should dress how they wish.

I would think most certainly there are girls that are ts that should be "guys" that would cross dress and instead of tucking stuff their pants!  So why not>?>>>>
seems perfectally normal in this un-normal world we live in>

Why can women wear men's clothes but men can't wear women's clothes?  The age old question.  It's been discussed forever and never been resolved to the satisfaction of all.  Plain and simple, it's just one of the double standards our society prescribes to.

As for FTM CDs, my TG therapist told me the percentages are pretty equal in all categories.  Women are less obvious because of social standards.  All MTF CDs don't dress for sexual arousal.  And it's perfectly understandable if no FTM CDs dress for sexual arousal.  Although there are men who dress in such a way as to be considered sexy.  Maybe there are some FTM CDs who dress that way and feel sexy.  :eusa_think:

Opening soon at malls around the country, Victor's Secret!  Somehow that just doesn't convey a sexy image, does it?

Adding on to Julie Maries already good post, Men do not dress "sexy or Stylishly" as women would do.  A suit-good suit looks nice, clean makes a guy look good then maybe in girl terms sexy?  Tight fitting levis and a flannel shirt are sexy right? Grinnnnn  :-\
I mean i guess it's all interpretted right?  If you see an overweight guy in a polo shirt, unshaved, wrinkled shorts and shoes that do not match anyway?  Is that stylish or sexy to a woman?  I think no i would not be attracted to that?  Clean him up get some clothes that snap a little better? Then there's progress?
see a girl in a nice sharp skirt and blouse, dark hose, high heels, hair waving in the wind>? A fair amount of war paint on.. Well darn she's good lookin right? Sexy..
Maybe being female to male ts does not have all the fashion kicks as a male to female ts, but that i would think is not the top priority anyway...
If you were a guy then you'd want to wear the guy clothing pretty much (again society has us half brainwashed with the roles and clothing for the roles...)
Man wouldn't an androgynous island be nice?

That's probably it. I know there are female crossdressers because there's one on another site I visit. She likes to wear men's clothes and become a guy. I hardly think she's alone. It just seems odd that there's a whole "section" missing on the female side otherwise.

I think what's happening is they keep hearing over and over again that there's no such thing as a female crossdresser, that they don't exist. So they either think they're odd and go back into hiding, or they simply tell themselves that they just like wearing men's clothes.

Now, there may not be any female fetishists, but even there I'd be careful. But women who wear men's clothes and express their guy side? That sounds perfectly reasonable to me. So rather than saying there are no female crossdressers we as a community ought to be asking are there any female crossdressers out there and not taking the silence to mean "no".

Hmm...my best friend is a lesbian.  Her attractions are clearly to women, her girlfriend is actually rather feminine, and I don't see any indication that she's not comfortable with her body.  Yet she also sports short hair, about as short as most men I know and wears male clothes.

Other girls have told me how they wore combat boots, and a dress, to a high school dance freshman year.  I wouldn't consider them ulta-feminine either.

In either case, maybe its just me, but noone seems uncomfortable with their presentation.

While it is clear that a 'man in a dress' definitely sends shockwaves, and a woman in men's garb doesn't, I definitely get stares and whispers in public places.
Now whether this is about the clothes, or the fact that I appear to be a big bulldyke, I don't know.

I think its more shocking when someone is passing badly in a dress then when they're not doing well in more casual clothes.  People tend to notice more, or at least pay attention longer and more likely to find "flaws".

8)Ok/ let's try this one more time...I do consider myself to being a sincere female to male crossdresser...I take pride in my attire and I do it with careful attention to detail...first off I wear either Ck, Ralphs, Tommies or C21 boxer briefs...I dawn my briefs with sheer pleasure making sure that they are not to large and thus become bulking...I wear my t'shirts the same way...I like the feel of silk/cotton blend (it seems to comform to me body moves...next comes my secrect weapon the cologne (uh uh uhhn...if I tell you, it won't be a secrect now will it...?) I spray just enough to give a hint of sensual pleasure...I also apply this to my shirt before I put it on...this way it's on the shirt and settled in...next comes the slacks...I wear jeans also (but this is a semi-formal date...(so slacks it is)I don't like them too tight/ slightly baggy to give a comfortable fit...before zipping up I dawn on my socks (dress socks with some type of motif on them) now cames the "iron(ed)" shirt...Im a long sleeved person (because I like to roll them up just above my wrist) I found that to be an attractive necessity when you are sporting a gold watch...once I have put on my shirt, I tuck it in the way my father used to do...backside first...making sure that it is all smoothed out, and then tucking in the front...being careful as to what side you are dressing on...once this has been accomplished, now you are ready to zip and belt...with one last look in the mirror I make sure that I am not "stuffy" I like to be smooth and pay close attention to detail...my shoes are next...and since I am wearing slacks I like to wear "tie-ups" which my Ladie friends have politely called my "jewish-shoes"...next comes my hair...which is blk and slightly long, so I wear it slicked back in a low ponytail...I have soft sideburns which I like to shave to mid-ear...my look is sort of like the romatic novelas that you read (pick one up and there tis' I, your rustic/romanticist) since this is a dinner date...I will wear my dinner jacket/blazer...either blk/ drk blue will do...although I do own a ruby red one...now I am ready but first I need to apply the two most important final touches that I found attracts females like " flies to poop" I know, bad analogy, but its true non-the-less...(1) I apply lip-shine lip gloss...this not only attracts potential women, but it gives your lips the allure of being very how should we say "kissable"...(2) next comes a simple application that I also got from me father and a couple of oldie but goodie "male" flicks...the applying of your favorite cologne to your hands...this will give your hands an aromatic lingering sensation...and when you greet your Lady friend she will without a doubt take your hand and wift the aroma coming from it...need I say more...! Ladies and Gents, I enjoy the feel of being a male...and I take pure delightful-pleasure in my appearances...If I am wearing a male apparatus, I make sure that the appendage is anatomically correct...and this is not only important to me...but it is also important to how I present myself to the world...do I care how the world perceives me? not one bit...have I been mistaken for a guy?...often...does it bother me? truthfully no...because this is the life I chose, and I keep those who are positive in my abode...for me, it's not about the sex...(hahaha) it's rather about how I feel inside...and what it is that I am trying to get outside...myself image...I consider mysef a bonafied metro-female/male-cross-dresser...sounds like a mouthful...it is...so when people ask me what are you...I tell them "Soy YO" I am me...!! I must say tho' that I am probably one of the luckie ones...my physique is quite athletic but structured proportionately...I am working on me abs now..so when I dawn on my clothes I feel very good about myself...my habit is a cross between cary grant (champagne & charisma/james  bond (martini shaken not stirred & chivalry/ and P diddy (crown royal on ice with a lil' NYC thuggn')...am I sexually motivated by dawning on male clothes...it is a good possibility...I like to sit in the comfort of my home wearing my male apparatis (equipped) with jockstrap and Pj bottoms or shorts with nothing on (topless) and if I happen to get a visitor...I don't think it is all about the sex as much as it is (with) being in the company of someone who is just comfortable with the way you are presented...some say their is fear and animosity towards us...because of this and that...what I would like to say is  "those who fear us or have some sort of animosity towards us...it is they themselves that they fear...not us!!!...and on that note I shall end...good-nite 2 all...P.S. I am attracted to women who look like women, not to females who cross-dress like me
